Criminal Code 182.5, the Community Once Again Comes Together
“The cry for justice is not just a local or national cry, it is a universal cry.â€
May 4, 2015 (San Diego) Preachers came together with community members. They prayed that God touched the heart of Judge Louis R. Hahoian. The community joined in the spiritual singeing, and the prayers. The community, over 200 strong, marched around the court house, and ended on the steps of the Hall of Justice, after some speeches.
Among the people speaking were Pastor Hugh Mahumet. He reminded the crowd that “the cry for justice is not just a local or national cry, it is a universal cry. The cry is not a black cry, it is not a white cry, it is not an Asian cry, it is not a Native American cry, it is a cry of all human beings to be treated fairly.â€
He spoke as to how a group of individuals have been left at the bottom of this justice. What others, like Michelle Alexander, refer as the New Jim Crow.
Reaching deep onto the well of faith, he said “God is a God of justice, and as Thomas Jefferson said, Justice will not sleep.â€

Outside of San Diego there has been very little coverage, but this is a dangerous little statue. Today it is used against gangs... or rather documented members of a gang, it does not matter if they are active members or not. This could easily become a you are a member of the mafia, and you did not know of that crime? Who cares? What about a hate group?
That criminal Statute reads:
Notwithstanding subdivisions (a) or (b) of Section 182, any person who actively participates in any criminal street gang, as defined in subdivision (f) of Section 186.22, with knowledge that its members engage in or have engaged in a pattern of criminal gang activity, as defined in subdivision (e) of Section 186.22, and who willfully promotes, furthers, assists, or benefits from any felonious criminal conduct by members of that gang is guilty of conspiracy to commit that felony and may be punished as specified in subdivision (a) of Section 182.
So... if you are part of a gang and have knowledge of criminal activity of that gang then you are guilty, under California Criminal Code, of conspiracy of that crime.
Don't join gangs, kids.

Pastor Hugh Mahumet is a Louis Farrakhan wannabe, he is mostly ignored by responsible press in San Diego.

Given the criminal activities of SD's Mayor Bob Filner (D) and of several D legislators that were exposed in the past couple of years, maybe nads is afraid the D party in CA will be ruled a gang, within the definition of that law.

I have no idea what nadin was trying to say, but that dangerous little statue looks like something TomInTib used to sell.
