(Story follows after my posted thoughts)
GoFundMe, the crowd source funding site, recently changed its terms of service to prevent people who have ended up on the wrong side of the law from being able to raise donations.
I am no attorney, and I have never stayed in a Holiday Inn but doesn't "Presumption of innocence" mean anything to the clowns who own the site?

A group of Baltimore police started a GoFundMe fundraising page to help defray legal costs for the six officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray, but after only 40 minutes the web site pulled the page claiming it violated the its terms of use.
The Baltimore Fraternal Order of Police set up a page initially called “Support Our Officers†but ended up tweeting only an hour later that the page was pulled down “without explanation.â€
Before it was pulled down, the FOP explained what their page was meant to do.
The Baltimore City Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #3 has been overwhelmed with the enormous generosity of people from around the world. We have received many requests to open an online account that will accept monetary donations for the 6 officers who have been wrongly charged in the death of Freddie Gray. All monies collected will be used to assist our officers with their living expenses during their unpaid suspension. as well as to help defray their legal expenses. We thank you, in advance, for your continued support.
GoFundMe, the crowd source funding site, recently changed its terms of service to prevent people who have ended up on the wrong side of the law from being able to raise donations. The terms were re-written after several Christian companies raised a startling amount of money to help defray legal costs forced upon them by state-sponsored court cases aimed at denying their religious expression.

Freddie Gray and his arm long rap sheet should be the easy pick for wrong side of the law.
But with libs, you can't get them to even favor their own countrymen over our mortal enemies.
Libs love to use phrases like "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter".

But raising money for the pedophile on DU is okay, right?

It's got to be an extremely difficult decision for Go Fund Me. Yes, there should be a presumption of innocence until proven guilty. However, there are 6 cops being charged and a city on fire which has the potential to erupt throughout the country. Perhaps Go Fund Me doesn't want to be responsible for anymore backlash and further rioting in accepting monies for those accused of a crime.
I feel for the cops. With the current hot climate that has been created by Ferguson and the Trayvon Martin case, are they really going to get a fair trial or will we see another "OJ Simpson" trial unfold? If they are found innocent; places like St. Louis, Detroit, Miami, etc., will burn.

In all the places you mentioned, justice was served properly, but rejected by a very unlawful anarchistic element of our society.
We should never be held hostage to justice.

It's a tough choice for gofundme. Bow down to the howling internet mob or stand tough and stay available to the group that consistently donates more than any other.
Looks like they made their choice. And their new competitor (whoever that turns out to be) will do quite well because of it.

This.
They have got themselves into a mess now. They just had to also shut down an account for the Boston protestors. Additionally, I expect they are going to see lawsuits from the bakeries and florists they have dumped.

GoFundMe is starting to sound like a left wing hate group. :whistling:
