Title: S.C. moves toward concealed carry without a license.
Post by: JohnnyReb on April 28, 2015, 04:17:29 PM
I know I should have put this in 2nd amendment or the gun section but I wanted everyone to know that my state is moving forward into full constitutional law observance.

Concealed carry without a permit passed 90-18....and the lady governor is pretty well pro gun so maybe soon I'll be packing without paper work.

The permitless carry amendment, would allow those who can legally possess a handgun to carry one concealed without having to go through the current licensing and training requirements. Current state law only grants the ability to carry a concealed handgun after paying the $50 fee and completing a mandated training course.

Anyone know the reciprocity arrangements ?

Kansas will recognize all permits, since no permits will be needed here. Our state will voluntarily issue permits for NICS checks and to allow us to carry in more repressive states. 36 other states recognize the Kansas permit, or have constitutional carry.
