How many of you spend any time on right-wing dominated message boards?
Some of you already get it, but some of you need to do that.
Seriously.
I do and the shit I come across is remarkable.
They do want poor people to die without ACA. They do want poor people to die by taking away their food-stamps or whatever support they get.
They do think that corporations are far more trustworthy than for instance the EPA.
Really, they do!
They laugh at me, as if I am the idiot, when I tell them there is NO historical reason for our government to be a christian government.
They are beside themselves when I tell them there is separation.
The list goes on, I can add to it.
They vote.
No, not kidding, they do.
You are a DUmmie so they are correct.

They think people ought to work for their living.
That alone sends you DUmbasses into hysterics.
-
NoJusticeNoPeace seems to be trying a little too hard at being stupid and is hitting all of the correct DUmbass talking points. Which Caver is moling as NoJusticeNoPeace?
-
DUmmies are always shocked when they become aware that people exist who simply disagree with Liberals...the shock!
They do want poor people to die without ACA.
This is the liberal talking point for those who think Obama care is bad law...you want to kill the poor!
They do want poor people to die by taking away their food-stamps or whatever support they get.
Another lib talking point. any talk of reducing the entitlement program's enslavement of the poor is, "You want the poor to die!"
They do think that corporations are far more trustworthy than for instance the EPA.
Yes, I do. Corporations are out to make a buck. The EPA used to protect the environment, but like the IRS it is used as a tool by Liberals to punish their enemies.
They laugh at me, as if I am the idiot,
Yes we do. and yes you are.
when I tell them there is NO historical reason for our government to be a christian government.
any simple look at history will prove you wrong.
They are beside themselves when I tell them there is separation.
The separation is to protect religion from govt, not the other way around.
so the DUmmy is correct, but still manages to get it all wrong. only a DUmmy.
-
Nobody wants poor people to die, jeez. As Mr. Mann said, just a talking point.
-
Was JohnHinkleyJr NJNP's way of hanging out? For three posts?
-
Obamacare instituted the death panels. Republicans didn't have anything to do with that. Democrat legislation allowed deductibles to be set so high that the poor dare not use their policies unless they are at death's door. The right wing had nothing to do with that.

Jonathan Gruber said it, revealing what we suspected all along. You have to lie to pass the bill.

...
They vote.
No, not kidding, they do.
What's worse, so do my kids ... because I didn't kill them!
I will admit, though, that I do not believe Libs' and Progs' sacred Separation of Church and State is not in the USC or any of the amendments. Maybe NJNP can refer me to the article or amendment where that phrase is found.
-
I know NJNP wasn't addressing me with this question, but I've participated on "right-wing dominated message boards" for about 17 1/2 years. Easily long enough to recognize and laugh at NJNP's silly false stereotypes. Whether NJNP is that ignorant or is flat out lying - not that the two are mutually exclusive - doesn't much matter.

Buzz clik was unavailable for comment. :fuelfire:

The rest of the thread is the respondents bragging about their epistemological closure.

They can't. It undermines a huge pillar of the crap the indulge themselves in. Mention the words "Banbury" and "baptists" together and you get:

Well, Jefferson was President when he wrote the famous letter to the Danbury Baptist Association (CT), but he was expressing his understanding of a Constitution and Bill of Rights he didn't help write. He was US Ambassador to Russia at the time. And even as one writing from the perspective of a POTUS, what he wrote has been twisted almost to the point of contradicting his meaning.

They do want poor people to die without ACA.
Layers of stupidity shielding more layers of stupidity.

Apparently not enough, you're still on DU, and still stupid.
Some of you already get it, but some of you need to do that.
See above...
Seriously.
I am serious, and don't call me "Shirley".
I do and the shit I come across is remarkable.
Do tell...
They do want poor people to die without ACA. They do want poor people to die by taking away their food-stamps or whatever support they get.
Considering "poor" people (rich people, too) were dying BEFORE the ACA was enacted, and are STILL dying today WITH the ACA, I say the ACA was a complete failure.
(Let's see what DUmmies can make of that!)
They do think that corporations are far more trustworthy than for instance the EPA.
I have NEVER liked the EPA, and I have NEVER trusted the EPA. As far as corporations go, it's a corporation that builds your cars, processes your food, provides the energy to keep your sorry ass comfy, the EPA, not so much. So yes, DUmbass, I TRUST corporations more than the EPA.
They laugh at me, as if I am the idiot, when I tell them there is NO historical reason for our government to be a christian government.
You are an idiot. You post moronic comments to other morons on the moronic DU. You're an idiot, AND a moron.
They are beside themselves when I tell them there is separation.
Separation of church and state, NOT FROM church and state, moron.
The list goes on, I can add to it.
Please, do. We love to laugh at your "intellect". :rotf:
They vote.
No, not kidding, they do.
And so do you DUmbasses.

Come over here sign in and make/defend the above quoted bullshit and I'll take it down piece by piece by myself with no assistance form anyone here.
And you have my word you won't get banned when throw your tantrum after I'm done with you.

OTOH, an EEEEEEEE-Vile corporation built the computer NJNP uses to post on DU and any other similar site (s)he infests, so ...
Seriously, I'll take the anti-business rants of people like NJNP seriously when they put their lives where their mouths and keyboards are ... when they take up the life of a hunter-gatherer living in a cave in the mountains (or a yurt on the plains).
-
They talk about how wonderful government is and in the same breath BITCH about SS benefits getting taxed or reduced or the hoops one must jump through to get your OWN money.
Guess what DUmb asses, if I wasn't forced to put into SS I could do with MY money as I pleased WHEN I please. That extra 15+% could be used to purchase more assets that will pay me far more than SS will ever pay me, and I can leave it to my family when I pass.
Not to mention how badly you're getting screwed on the return you're getting on your SS 'investment' unless you get on that disability gravy train early. That seems to be the DU retirement plan.

Are you saying that Thomas Jefferson was ignorant of the true meaning of the Constitution, because he wasn't present for the Constitutional Convention?
I don't believe I've ever read that thesis before.
-
Are you saying that Thomas Jefferson was ignorant of the true meaning of the Constitution, because he wasn't present for the Constitutional Convention?
I don't believe I've ever read that thesis before.
And that statement remains true. I was just pointing out a bit of ignorance common among Libs & Progs who spout their greater ignorance of Jefferson's meaning in his letter.
Assuring a religious minority - at the time - as Jefferson did that they would not be taxed to support a state church (then common in EuroLand) is very far from Libs' & Progs' to excise Christianity from society.
-

OK, I understand. That is a valid point.
I apologize for assuming when you wrote this:
he was expressing his understanding of a Constitution and Bill of Rights he didn't help write.
you meant that Jefferson was uninvolved in the formation of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and was not communicating by letter with Madison during the Convention (http://www.loc.gov/exhibits/jefferson/jefffed.html).
I also apologize for assuming you meant the Act for Establishing Religious Freedom, written by Jefferson for the Virginia Assembly in 1777, was not influential to the Constitutional Convention. The Act included the sentence: (N)o man shall be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or ministry whatsoever, nor shall be enforced, restrained, molested, or burthened in his body or goods, nor shall otherwise suffer on account of his religious opinions or belief, but that all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinions in matters of Religion, and that the same shall in no wise diminish, enlarge or affect their civil capacities. (http://www.virginiamemory.com/online_classroom/shaping_the_constitution/doc/religious_freedom)
Please forgive my foolish assumptions.

Geesh! I'm well aware of Jefferson's work in VA. OTOH, communication between Russia and Philadelphia in the late 18th Century might have been a bit slower than nowadays. What you quoted was intended to reflect the fact that TJ was President, not a USSC Justice writing an opinion in a court decision. In other words, TJ's comment would not be used as a formal basis for stare decisis.
-
Well, Jefferson was President when he wrote the famous letter to the Danbury Baptist
Yes. My mistake. Thank you. :cheersmate:

Evidently, self-control is not among his life skills, nor one he cares to develop.

I can't stand it when progs talk about separation of church and state.
That phrase is not part of our constitution.
It's a make no law clause.
edit: I posted prigs, but I meant progs. cousin nadin autocorrect strikes again.

DI is run by a lot of democrats many of whom will vote to "Hide" you simply for saying something conservative. Luckily there are enough conservatives to balance out the DUmmies.
For a liberal to get booted off DI, you have to be such a total a$$hole that even liberals will vote against you. Nadin is another example.

'Friggin' prigs' describes most of those pearl-clutchers very well.
