Tell Nebraska State Senators to Keep One Minimum Wage for All Ages (We raised it last Nov.)
http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/tell-nebraska-state-senators?source=mo&id=112784-3297678-0Pp0BKx
Petition by Mike Nellis
To be delivered to Senator Watermeier, Senator Kintner, Senator Garrett, Senator Hilkemann, Senator Mello and 43 other targets (click here to see more)
Nebraska legislators are considering a bill that would lower the minimum wage for workers until 18 years old just months after voters overwhelmingly approved an increase to the state’s minimum wage. This is clear age discrimination and a violation of voter’s trust. We are calling on Nebraska legislators to reject this legislation and focus on raising, not lowering, the minimum wage.

1. Kick
^See, he is still kicking.
-
And no replies after his pathetic "kick".
Looks like the Big Guy is already dead to the DUmp.

My idea for OS to have the same number of replies to his threads at DU as to here never really caught on.
I haven't given up on it though.
I still like the idea.
Maybe it's an idea before it's time.

Kinda of sad that we pay more attention to him than the DUmmies do. :(

Or Marta. When she's not out 'visiting a sick friend', she spends her time moving around the house, avoiding Steve like the plague.
Every morning, she wakes up and listens for the sounds of snoring and farting from the guest bedroom. When she hears them, a single tear rolls down her cheek.

Well, I can guarantee the big guy can incite a lot of primitive comments on just one thread, maybe hundreds of comments.
The only problem being, it'd be one of those that the elusive enigmatic Elad'd have to move to the mortuary page.
But if the big guy wants immortality, that's the way to go.
-
I feel like joining DU just to keep the ever declining Big Guy's spirits up with a kick or two every so often.
I feel bad for him, over there, suffering the compassion of the primitives.

OMG, OMG!!!!! Watch out it's coming right for us!
Our procrastinating dying buddy is responsible for anything that may happen to the 48 people mentioned above due to his callous choice in words.

Nebraska has a one-house legislative body, with 49 state senators.
Those are probably the "targets."

At first it sounded a little odd that a man planning to die before summer would care so much about the minimum wage.
Seems like he'd have bigger worries than the hourly rate for teenagers.
But then I realized that's his "estate".
For decades as a low-level city drone, the Big Guy has lived large.
Flat screens, new cars, Cornhusker tickets, Las Vegas, cemetery tours, the works.
His estate consists of a mortgage, a bunch of credit card balances, and autographs from some 70-year-old TV extras.
His city-paid life insurance evaporated when he retired, and his pension will cover the water bill.
The minimum wage will have to finance his widow's lifestyle.

Treat Marta to a life to which she has been accustomed.
