David Hasselhoff, who is Big in Germany, has a new song and video.
The music is pure '80s movie soundtrack cheese, but the video shows that The Hoff gets the joke. He pokes fun at himself and the rest of 1980s pop culture, TV, and movies. It'll put a little smile on the face of anyone who rocked through the decade of Sly, Ahnold, Mel, and Jean Claude (for you young squirts, those are the old pharts you see in the Expendables movies.)
Speaking of Expendables, I heard that Stallone and Statham had a meeting to discuss the next movie. The discussion went something like this:
Stallone: "I think we should put the guys in some kind of uniform. What do you think they should wear?"
Statham: "Depends".
:rimshot:
How many different '80s TV and movie references can you identify?

30-40 years ago that might have been a big hit. Still it was a fun video.

The "Hoff" was featured recently on the Discovery Channel series "Fast and Loud".
He was asked to be a guest to coincide with a Knight Rider car the Fast and Loud garage was building.

I spent the entire decade of the Eighties but a small piece of 1982 in Europe. I don't recognize any of that crap, except for Hasselhoff himself, who is the cretin's cretin. I never could figure out why the Europeans fawn over him the way they do.

Truly awesome.
