I was telling you guys and gals about my cousins girlfriend who gets the 5,000 dollar earned income credit every year.
Well, she is defaulting on big time student loan debt and the IRS caught wind of it. They took 4,500 of her tax credit and are now going to withhold 300 dollars a month from her pay check at walmart to pay back the loans. My cousin told me all this. Just repeating what he said.

I just looked up Anesthesia Assistants. Masters level program, like Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. Salaries run $95,000-180,000.
$90,000 in student loan debt would have been a good investment, if she had completed the program.

Unless she's going to work for cash, the IRS will follow her to every job. Maybe you should explain to her about that whole IRS Form W-4 thing.

The whole story is day's of our life's times ten. My cousin just got a 40,000 dollar pay out on a law suit from a lady running him over in a store parking lot. His girlfriend wants her cut. He refused and she had a fit.

She sounds like a piece of work. How the heck did she think she was entitled to a "cut"? She wasn't run over...
I was also wondering...why is she working at Wal-Mart if she has a 90K student loan to pay off? I see that she quit; but 90K should get a degree, shouldn't it? OR, has she just put off paying it back for so long that it's ballooned into 90K with penalties and interest?

She wants to quit so they don't take the 300 bucks a month from her check. DUmmie logic 101. She did not pay it back and defaulted on the loan. She figured since she will not use the degree why pay it?

She knew all this ahead of time because she can't stay focused even to drive a car. I forgot what she has. Don't know why she went ahead and did the degree knowing she could hurt somebody giving them meds to put them asleep. The whole thing is crazy.

Sad thing is...there a many more out there just like her. I know a few of them myself.
