You ****ing idiots just can't catch a break. First the IRS 'loses' e-mails then destroys the hard drives only to find them all later... then Hillary is running this little shell game that just keeps blowing up. Hillary is giving Nixon good press! At least he didn't destroy the tapes!

Scrubbing the server looks very bad.
For many reasons. Hillary scrubbed her emails sometime between when she gave emails to the State dept and this month.
When determining which emails to give State, it was in response to the Benghazi nonsense. Thus, her team used Benghazi and Libya based search terms to find responsive emails. They said they also pulled any to .gov accounts as well as search by email address/name of some dignitaries and other officials.
Then, at some point after that document production, they deleted it all. Now, there is no way to ensure or verify that she retained all the records required. She employed the Benghazi based searches to find any emails that may not have been included by the .gov and official's name search. It follows that there are numerous other subjects that would likewise be missed by the .gov/officials search. But they are gone now.
This smells like destruction of evidence, desperation and spoliation. Because of another stupid (or worse) decision, this story will grow new and longer legs. All it will take is one business email to turn up which she didn't produce to destroy any credibility she has left. I hope whatever she is hiding either stays hidden or is revealed long before the convention. She's a liability for the Democratic Party.
Well... yeah.

1. Just what is it that the right thinks she is hiding?
If I were HRC, I would be insulted that the right thinks that I am not smart enough to know not to send nefarious communications via e-mail or telephone.
WTF! Does the right wing think she has conspired with other foreign officials to conduct some malevolent deed? And do they really think she' that god damn stupid to write about it in an e-mail?
No, the right wing folks need to get out their tinfoil hats to protect themselves from what appears to be microwaves that are cooking their brains.
Thats what alot of people think- she set up her own server to aviod exactly what is happening. Her sneekly little plots coming out for all to see. BUT- lets say she is totally innocent in all this. We will never know because she destroyed the records.

34. She did not have a back-up at State.
That would have been great if she did. It would have avoided all this.
She went out of her way to by-pass the very system she ordered all the State Department to use.

54. There's a lot of HRC haters, so when someone produces what ever it is you all think might ruin her-which is what you want, right? Then it will be the time to clutch your pearls and wring your hands with worry. Until then, let it go. Geesh!
If HRC ends up not running and not being the nominee, I think there are a couple more viable candidates that are electable

3. My personal belief is: It's not a big deal. The Benghazi thing has been investigated to death by republicans and they still have nothing of value. The Emails that were deleted contain what? I don't know. Could have been about her and Bill. I really don't care.
Your thoughts may be entirely different and that's cool...by me.
Hillary has been stonewalling along with her buddies since day one. Now she destroys the records she kept outside the official communication channels? Yeah- nothing to see here. Move along.

7. Did you ever think that she wanted her email to be secure, and since the server was set up
for the former President, she believed THAT to be much more secure than .gov?
I know I thought of that.

51. Bill Clinton has said he only has sent 2 emails in his life.
So that story that it was set up for him is BS.
Ooo. Ouch.

31. Maybe it's a psycologial plot
that the HC people dreamt up to embarrass the committee.
They know nothing was in the emails and wanted to make a fuss so that Gowdy would ask for the servers and have them restored.
What a trick to play on them if nothing is found but menus and wardrobes....and the committee is falling asleep from boredom reading them.
That'll teach'em...
All that time and expense....
Ya, and I have a bridge that fell out of my mouth one time. Can't sell it for some reason....

37. Looks bad? Is bad. She knew destroying the emails would be controversial but decided to do it anyway. That means whatever was in those emails was so bad that it would be worth dealing with the controversy of destroying them. That's the cold political calculation Mrs. Clinton and her team made.
There must have been some scandalous stuff in the emails.
ALERT ALERT ALERT

55. Only one good reason to do it and that is that whatever data that server contained is worse than giving the public impression of deliberately destroying public records and any actual legal consequences that may come to pass. Remember, this is a person whose (ghostwritten) autobiography is arrogantly titled "Living History". So by her own implicit and explicit claims, she just destroyed priceless historical documents that can never be replaced. Unless the contents of that server could have sent her to jail, there's no explanation that suffices to explain this.
There seems to be alot of Hillary Hate at the DUmp. Or is it just me?

59. Well, just a few short weeks ago, there were some who were saying that it was not illegal.
How the hell will we ever know now???
Anyone who keeps claiming that this is a non-issue had better hope and pray for someone else to run.
I'm certainly not in the mood to just look the other way.

Wonder if she's hiding a blue dress somewhere.

Was there ever any doubt that this would happen?

Consciousness of guilt.

A logical, thinking person (not blinded by feminist ideals) would say . . .
"If there was nothing damning on it, why delete it? Why not leave it for the world to see?"
Therefore, there must have been illegal things on that server.
-
Shillarys worst enemy is Obungles (Jarett).
They want her destroyed.
-
She's a lawyer, even if one whose stock in trade was making bank off of being the Governor's wife. She therefore knew damn' well about the requirements to preserve evidence once an investigation is underway, entirely aside from the whole matter of using a private account and server. She really ought to be disbarred over this, at the very least, even if she has successfully destroyed all the evidence of any actual crimes.
-
Well, at least this erasure proves true HRC's claim that she did it for convenience. She had control over all her emails, convenient for wiping them clean.
-
The bottom line is that HRC feels that whatever flack she will catch from deleting the Emails will be less damaging than if the Emails were preserved, or she is falling on her sword to protect those that were Emailed.
Neither Hill nor Bill are stupid people -so this wasn't an act of derpitude. It was deliberate and calculated to produce the best possible outcome. As for those who believe this is HRC playing multidimensional chess against Goudy - think again. The deletion itself is criminal, so even if it is discovered that all the Emails were inconsequential - HRC will still face problems.
Just like her husband who ended up impeached over perjury. - If Bill came out and said he was messing with Monica, then went even further and said he was hoping to set up a threesome with Hillary, the investigation would have immediately ended as Newt and Co. would have collectively raced for the toilets to vomit into.

That's the way it appears....
or she is falling on her sword to protect those that were Emailed.
Never.

I know I thought of that.
Off topic, but wanted to point out that this particular DUmmy is one sick creep.
7-8 years ago when big fat liberal radio host Bernie Ward went to prison for child pornography, napinumbers was one of his biggest defenders.
He continually asked if anyone had access to the evidence that was used against Bernie because he wanted to look at all of the photographs so that he could judge them for himself. He said that he had seen some of the photos and that in his opinion, they weren't quite pornographic enough to warrant prison time, and he hoped that a fellow DUmp monkey could send him the rest.
Odds are good that he's a registered sex offender wherever he lives.

Ward got caught in 2005, and (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_Ward#Child_pornography_conviction) plead guilty in 2008. Per the article I linked, he was home for Christmas, 2014, and should have registered as a sex offender. I won't hold my breath until I learn whether or not he did - nor search further - but he might actually have obeyed that law. Maybe prison food disagreed with him sufficiently - maybe he even exercised to relieve boredom, for that matter - and consequently Bernie is less Michael-Moore-esque. 2+ decades earlier, Bernie and Rush knew each other and were friends, at least professionally.

So, the woman who was fired from the Watergate investigating committee for ethics violations, who "lost" FBI records on political enemies only to have them turn up in her office, who had an associate remove and destroy classified documents from the National Archives, says "I turned them all in. Trust me."
"Trust me" is one of the three great lies. The other two being "The check's in the mail" and "I won't come in your mouth".

36. What do you think she is hiding?
I'll let the great one explain it:
With spoliation, the court must assume the worst-case scenario–not just that evidence was bad for the party that lost it–but that it could not have been worse. That’s a harsh rule, but it’s the best way to motivate a party with evidence that will cause them trouble in court to choose to keep that evidence safe and make sure the court gets it.
Imagine a situation where a businessman and his business partner cheated in a business deal with a client that cost the client $5,000. Then they had a separate, bigger deal where the client lost $50,000. The police investigate the businessmen regarding both deals and seek email records of every exchange the partners had that mention the client.
Further imagine that the partners had emailed back and forth about stealing the money in the first deal. Why not just have a convenient Lois Lerner-style computer crash to destroy the evidence? Because while the emails show them plotting to steal money in the first deal, they also show the partners worked the bigger deal honestly and that the $50,000 was lost through no fault of theirs.
So if the businessmen destroy the emails, the judge could tell the jury to assume that the lost emails would have contained proof that the partners stole from the client in both deals and convict them of stealing both the $5,000 and the $50,000. Thus, the doctrine of spoliation motivates them to preserve emails that show they stole the $5,000 and pay the price for that–but avoid being wrongly convicted for stealing the $50,000.

How secure was her server if a spam filtering service had access to her emails?

Seriously, can you imagine the fits they would be having if Hillary was say, Sarah Palin?

Wasnt Hillary under subpoena when she scrubbed these servers? I'm no lawyer but even I know you don't touch anything while under subpoena.

It's unclear when she wiped the servers or had it done, so the left will say it was done before the subpoena was issued.

Wasn't Hillary a lawyer at one time? Wouldn't she know that Benghazi and stuff was being questioned and it would look very dishonest to delete anything?

Actually, attributed (some say wrongly) to Niccolo Machiavelli, but it wouldn't surprise me if Alinsky stole that one too.

Why doesn't someone just subpoena the NSA for the emails?
