Oh my.

Posted just to gently remind the cooking and baking primitives that franksolich always keeps an eye on their treasonous sentiments and seditious comments.

What's for Dinner, Fri., Mar. 27, 2016

I think it will depend on what looks good at that new market I've discovered by where I work (Chinese market). I've purchased spinach there twice now, and I cannot get over how fresh it is.

Hey--maybe a spinach-mozarella pizza over a cauliflower crust?

1. Baby chicken

Cornish hen with roasted Brussels sprouts (olive oil, garlic...then a drizzle of honey after cooking) and mushroom risotto.

Which reminds me - off to market to buy mushrooms. Damn ... thought I could get away with just lounging on my day off.

2. Thai Chicken and Coconut Soup

DH has the cold now and he is miserable. Chicken soup with a twist is just what he needs.

I bought produce recently that went bad fast, so I need to get to the farmers market tomorrow.

We will be leaving for a three week trip without any access to groceries in a few days, so I need really fresh stuff.

Your pizza sounds great. Enjoy!

3. Just burgers

with a little goat cheese I picked up very inexpensively at Aldi's and some pan fried potatoes. It was either that or breakfast, husband chose.

Your pizza sounds really yummy, though.

ETA: Had to nix the goat cheese. Forgot it was honey goat cheese. Husband still wanted to try it, but I talked him out of it.

4. Another pork chop. More Brussels sprouts.

In other words, leftovers.

I may have this all wrong; but when I read these what's for dinner threads; the DUmmies sound like food snobs. I've never heard of half the things they profess to eat/cook.

I looked it up and cauliflower pizza crust apparently is a real thing.  I have eaten a lot of nasty stuff, but I don't think that I would ever willingly eat that.

This isn't real.

She's campaigning.

DUmmy NJCher has enjoyed the notoriety she earned with her puke stew photo, and wants to keep it going.

The only cooking DUmmy who's honest is our stoned friend fizz, who alternates between leftovers and gut bombs.

I had a "mega meat" pizza I purchased at a local truck stop on my way home from work.  Got 2 slices left over for lunch today.

Wait a minute, Hippywife is back?  And what's the deal with the goat cheese?  If she didn't want honey goat cheese, why did she buy it?  And who would put that on a burger?

Whoa! You're right!

Maybe Wild Bill is using her account, or maybe she's posting from his stew pot.

It would be nice to see more from her, maybe some more photos from her grim, Stalinist, linoleum-and-oilcloth kitchen.

Hippywife worked in a nursing home, where she forced the inmates to buy her Etsy junk if they wanted food or clean sheets.
