http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3013044/Ex-CFO-father-four-food-stamps-looking-job-viral-video-protesting-Chick-fil-left-unemployed.html
An ex-CFO and Chick-fil-A protestor who lost his job after posting a video rant against one of the chain's employees has since lost his home and lives on food stamps.
Adam Mark Smith, 37, who worked for an Arizona-based medical device manufacturer, was shamed after the 2012 YouTube video was posted showing him berating employee Rachel Elizabeth.
The video which expressed his disdain over the firm's anti-gay marriage stance went viral, and left him unemployed and forced to lose his home.
Nearly three years later, the married father of four is still searching for a job and his family previously had to give away possessions before he was hired and fired again, according to ABC.
At the time he was working as CFO for Vante, Smith was earning $200,000 annually and had more than $1million in stock options, but he said it was all taken from him when he was fired.
His 2012 firing was reported on the same day as the counter-protest against Chick-fil-A's Appreciation Day as thousands of gay couples flocked to restaurants to kiss during the summer of 2012.
Things were looking rough for Smith and his wife, Amy, along with their four sons after they lost their home and moved into an RV.
But there was silver lining for him and the chance for a new start when he was offered a new job as a CFO in Portland a few months later.
'I felt like, "yeah, I got it. I am back'',' he said.
However, nearly two weeks later, he was fired once again after his boss realized he was the man from the video.

I love a story with a happy ending.

Wow! No Prog-run business - e.g. Ben & Jerry's, Progressive Insurance - could find a place for their martyr? They don't exactly kill their wounded, but they sure seem to leave them to bleed out!
-
This is going to follow him around for a very long time. Maybe he'll make his fortune in meth in his RV next.
-
I figured the gay mafia would have welcomed him into the family with open arms.
-
Well, he could look here (http://www.chick-fil-a.com/Company/Careers-Guide) for a job.. It might do him some good..

Another conservative in the making.

Open Positions:
Position Title: Lot Attendant
Location: Service Department
Responsibilities:
- Preparing vehicles to be sold & serviced by washing them, putting down mats and plastic to protect interiors, making key tags and driving vehicles from the service lanes to the service stalls.

- Keeping the service drop-off area clean and free of debris.
- Retrieving newly-serviced vehicles for customers.
Even though he has no marketable skill, there's no excuse for Atman's years of unemployment.
After a few months of training, he could handle this job.

Wow. I am most shocked that the man from the video is straight, with a wife and kids.

Wow. I am most shocked that the man from the video is straight, with a wife and kids.
Doesn't matter.
He's still a DUmbass, all hopped up on Goofenthal, showing his solidarity with the "liberal cause" against Chick-fil-a.
Problem is, and always has been, the "liberal cause" doesn't give a rat's ass about him, or anyone else.

Gotta love how all the Left's anti- CFA attempts (And all simply because the head of the company expressed his opinion on an issue) have backfired on them so spectacularly.
This tool loses several jobs (The only downside is that now his kids have to suffer for their dad's idiocy; Maybe the next people who see that vid should be some workers from CPS?), the other protesters revealed THEMSELVES to be the truly hateful, demented bigots, and CFA's business is doing better than ever.
I am actually more interested in how Rachel is doing after that uncalled for DUmmie behavior.
Good call. How much you want to bet that she has been targeted for online stalking and multiple death threats from gay- rights fanatics and other liberal scum since then?

Such people work where they can get hired, they aren't often able to pick and choose.
I'd have shitcanned him over that stunt, too.
Now if he'd made the same speech to the sanctimonious owners, that would be different.

Lecturing a minimum wage worker? That's just poor judgment.
I can agree with his views towards the corporation with no issue, but crabbing at the "serfs" for the actions of the "laird" is just wrong.

Going after the employee, who is probably just trying to make enough money to eat, only gives "bulletin board material" to the GOP.
The problem is corporate level bigots who force everyone in their company to share their values and the awful politicians who let them get away with it on the legal level.

3. I don't take pleasure in anyone's misfortune...
but there is no doubt that this guy is an ass. He was lambasting some kid who probably had never even heard of the whole controversy and couldn't care less one way or the other. If Mr. Smith wanted to chastise someone for the company's corporate policies, he should have called their headquarters and got with one of the higher-ups. A kid making minimum wage is not the proper outlet for his hot air.
How many bouncies have we seen about DUmmies going off on some poor minimum wage worker over some petty BS? Quite a few. These DUmmies don't see themselves in this asshole that got fired, but I do.

Unless of course the issue is abortion and then it is okay for the government to force every company to adopt a liberal value.

-
I think the guy is running a scam.
He's a DUmmy, and DUmmies lie, all the time.
The company that fired him after a couple of years as "CFO" has GROSS SALES of just $10 million.
That's a tiny company to give a new bean counter $200K plus a million bucks in stock.
He was a relatively new employee, not a founder or partner or heir.
I think he's grossly inflated his financial situation for publicity to sell his self-published memoir.
Maybe he can persuade Pitt's mother to buy a few cartons of books.
-
What the hell could possibly be in that memoir that would make for compelling reading? I mean really. WTF.

Former CFO on Food Stamps After Controversial Viral Video About Chik-Fil-A
http://abcnews.go.com/Business/cfo-food-stamps-controversial-viral-video/story?id=29533695
A former CFO is now on food stamps after a video he posted on YouTube two and half ago criticizing Chick-Fil-A went viral and destroyed his career.
Adam Smith, 37, was the CFO of a medical device manufacturer in Arizona, until the summer 2012, when he -- and thousands of other people -- started protesting against Chick-Fil-A for the fast-food chain’s anti-gay stance.
One day, Smith decided to go through the drive-thru at his local Chick-Fil-A, where he ordered a free water -- the fast food chain offers customers free water -- and videotaped himself telling the drive-thru attendant how much he despised Chick-Fil-A.
“I got into work and the receptionist, the first thing, big eyes, ‘Adam, what did you do?’ ... she said, ‘The voicemail is completely full, and it’s full of bomb threats,’†Smith said in an exclusive interview with ABC News' "20/20."

Be an asshole to a young girl working a shitty cashier job-
Lose house, possessions, and move your wife and 4 kids into an RV- For a CFO he wasn't good with money

'A Million Dollar Cup of Water: Discovering the Wealth in Authenticity'
I think this guy is about as authentic as a $3 bill.
The DUmmies are aware of Smith hitting the skids--the two that replied along with the OP, anyway.
A Chick-Fil-A post getting only two replies at democrat underground--a far cry from 2012. Airbrushing another failure out of leftist history.

When the original CfA boycott//buycott went down there were no CfAs within an hour's drive of where I live in Silicon Valley. Now there are 3 in Silicon Valley (one of which I only just learned about), and there is a 4th about 30 or 40 minutes' away.

The nearest one to me is in Chicopee MA. That's a tad over 75 miles away. I did speak to my Town supervisor once (he's an usher in my church), and he said that he'd welcome a CFA with open arms.

There are some large (population) states yet that have few or zero CfA locations. So there is still much potential for growth in the US for CfA. A year ago I found this evidence of the "success" of the 2012 CfA boycott (http://www.christianpost.com/news/chick-fil-a-takes-kfcs-chicken-crown-even-with-fewer-stores-and-closing-on-sundays-so-workers-can-attend-church-117224/). It only refers to the US, not worldwide.

There is a Chik-Fil-A about a 1/4 mile drive from my sons college and eats there 4 days a week. Drives by pizza and hamburger places to get there. I like chicken but not that much.

There are good and poor KFCs (and other fast-food outlets) near us, some poor, some decent (and some that have been both at different times). The concept of a franchise is that it's a replicable complete package that, if located properly and done to the letter, it will satisfy customers and be profitable. "Done to the letter" means that any location is going to be as good as the people working there. My guess is that that KFC has manglers and people cutting corners, and maybe manglers who drive away good employees. If that KFC has high employee turnover, manglement is the probable cause.

I'm surprised he found a publisher.
The whole concept for the book is a steaming pile, a real stinker.
I can't imagine a green light being given by a publisher on the basis of profit potential.
Maybe the publisher is Soros funded or some other lib foundation that doesn't have a profit motive.
If this book makes even a tiny profit I'll eat my hat.
