Not to mention those servicemen who died trying to rescue him.

Not to mention those servicemen who died trying to rescue him.
Amen to that!

Obama hates black people.
-
Do they still shoot deserters?
-
As ISIS was beheading Christians, and Boko Haram was kidnapping and raping girls, Obama was releasing 5 Taliban leaders for a deserter.
-

From what I just heard in the press conference, those deaths won't be considered for the charge of desertion. :argh:

7. The trial is probably the right thing. And the right outcome is probably not guilty by reason of
insanity/mental defect, or guilty with extenuating circumstances and sentence completely satisfied by time served as a Taliban prisoner.
I don't know all the details that a trial will likely unearth but it seems to me he broke under pressure. To walk off in the middle of Afghanistan is all the evidence of insanity I need.
You are one stupid piece of shit.

I wonder if the emails between him and his family will be admissible? Some of those made it sound more like treason than desertion.
-
Unfortunately, the 'mental defect' defense has a fair chance of getting him off lightly. Not to mention that Obama will probably exercise executive clemency even if the bastard gets a well-deserved serious sentence.

7.
I don't know
You could have stopped right there, DUmbass...

I hope he does. The military enjoys much higher favorability rating than barry, and if he's going to be a ****tard (highly likely) in regards to any sentence imposed on Bergdahl, I say encourage him to do it. Tie that deserter piece of garbage to the democrats and make him barry's crowning achievement as President. The democrats are pretty radioactive right now, a pardon for that shitwipe would reach critical mass.

21. I get all that. So will they
They won't give him a pass on account of it, even if his defense does convince then it's the cause.
People try the PTSD defense at Courts Martial now for things like DUI and domestic violence and they don't get a pass because of it either. Because the attitude is "it sucks to have PTSD, but that doesn't excuse or allow you to put others at risk or harm others."
By doing what he did, Bergdahl put a whole lot of people at risk as the entire theather stopped everything to look for him or support looking for him, and a lot of people risked a lot trying to find him. The jury won't have any sympathy for him because of that, and their attitude will probably be the same- "Sucks to have PTSD, that doesn't excuse you for doing what you did."

23. This isn't a DUI. This is wandering off in Afghanistan, a completely nutty act that would
likely get someone from the US, who doesn't speak the language, killed within a few hours. He's incredibly lucky to be alive.
Now we're talking insanity rather than intent to desert.
**** you,you ignorant asswipe.

I got no doubt Barry will pardon the **** as he leaves office.

A lot of speculation about a plea deal for some ridiculously-light sentence out there. I hope the Army doesn't embarrass itself like that, but 'way too many generals, including GCMCAs, advance to higher rank more by blow-jobbing White House officials and senior Congresscritters than by their professional ethic and excellence, so I can't say it's impossible.

Yes.

Sounds like the DUmmie is putting down brown people, muslims, or both.

Hang him high!

He didn't "walk off".
He intentionally deserted his countrymen to bring his allegiance to our mortal enemies.
It was premeditated.
Furthermore the talking point of bringing all our troops home is a lie.
He willingly joined our mortal enemies, making himself our mortal enemy.
He wanted to be with our mortal enemies, and that's where he should have been left.

Try walking off from your next job, jacknut.

Hang him high!
Make it a tiny bit higher by lopping off his testes, since he's not needed them after siding with the anti-America muzzie crazies.
