KENNER, La. (AP) — A machete-wielding attacker who died hours after being shot by a sheriff’s deputy who stopped his rampage at New Orleans’ international airport had a bag loaded with Molotov cocktails, authorities say.
Richard White, 63, had been shot Friday night as he chased an unarmed Transportation Security Administration agent through a concourse full of frightened travelers – and in the direction of a sheriff’s deputy, who drew her gun and fired three times. White died Saturday afternoon.

Investigators are trying to determine the motivations of the man and the man’s family has been cooperating with the investigation, the sheriff said. When discussing the attack, Normand said at the news conference that there was a “mental health component†but didn’t elaborate on any specifics.

Has the DUmp even mentioned this attack? I figured the minute they saw the pic of him on the stretcher they would be quiet.

The fact that the DUmmies have a long and storied history of being wrong about news developments never seems to stop them from wild speculation.

The bigger issue here is: How many "news stories" do you read titled .. ATTACKER WAS CATHOLIC, BAPTIST, METHODIST ..etc. etc.?
I see nowhere in the story where proof that this person had been confirmed as a JW?
Maybe he knew some jw's?
Maybe he studied for a time with the jw's but might he have also associated with other religions?
I personally studied with the jw's for a number of years and 'other' than the issue of blood transfusions .. I am not aware of any other "medical care" that jw's don't accept?
Yes, even the jw's are subject to imperfection, mental health issues, sickness that all religious people of all faiths are subject to.
So, my question seems pertinent here .. Why the obvious 'non-issue' of this persons supposedly being one of the jw's?

Dunno, mrc. It's not like witnesses teach machete handling at their service meetings. My guess is that some MSM type wanted to make clear that the guy wasn't some flavor of Muslim. Or maybe the dude wrapped his Molotov cocktails in back issues of Watchtower and Awake!?
