Title: Springtime is riding time
Post by: Big Dog on March 21, 2015, 09:30:04 PM
In celebration of the first full day of spring, I took Big Blue out for the inaugural ride of the season. It was only 50 miles, but it sure felt good to be back in the saddle again!

Nice.

The guy with the Karmann Ghia was out yesterday.  That car has such a nice paint job.

I saw a BMW inline transverse sports bike today.
I got an inkling of the old fever.

Is your bike a shaftie ?

Yup. 1832 cc engine, 5 speed, shaft drive.

BMW makes a nice bike. How long will it take to talk yourself into one?

Very cool. That engine is a change for BMW, right? I'm used to seeing Boxer engines on their standards and tourers, but I don't know anything about their sport bikes.

We had the snake out today.  Kinda like riding two Harleys side by side.
