5. This song is blatantly unconstitutional
As an atheist, this is one of the many reasons I hate baseball with a passion.

9. As an atheist, I feel ya - but the Yankees aren't part of the government.
Interesting question comes to mind, though - do they take even one cent from the government? If so, they're breaking the law.

It's time to thin the herd.

Unconstitutional?  They wish!  Unless congress passed a law requiring the singing of "God Bless America" at all ballgames, I know with all certainty the constitution has no bearing on the situation whatsoever.

We normal people have stood by silent as the purely conceptional idea of "separation of church and state" has been purposely misused to fool as many people as possible into thinking any acknowledgment of our Christian God in public is a threat to the foundation of our republic, when it reality our Christian God is the foundation of our republic.

Can it get anymore convoluted and evil?

It's scary anytime the DUmmies start trying to refer to the Constitution.

Yeah, but we keep hoping that one of these days, they might just crack the damned thing open and read it once before rushing to stick their foot in their mouth telling you and I what it "says".

I can't imagine going through life that miserable and hate-filled over everything. What's really odd is that they see it as a virtue.

Hmmm last time I went to a ball game was about 3 years ago at Minute Maid Park in Houston.  They played God Bless America.  My wife (who is a professional interpreter for the deaf) was signing to it.  The reason I remember this is because my wife was signing it they zoomed the camera in on her and my mom in law called us at home that night to tell us she had seen her daughter on national tv.  Otherwise I probably wouldn't have paid attention.

Seems the DUmmie is behind the times .... it should have been outraged LONG ago.

I am waiting for the left half of SCOTUS to do the same.

DUmp Dictionary:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech means that any speech mentioning the Christian God or His Son on public property on within hearing distance of a DUmmie is "blatantly unconstitutional"...unless, of course, it is used as a curse.

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed means that only government-sanctioned organized militia may keep working firearms.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized means that the Republican government cannot access public phone records to assertain what calls are being made to terrorists, but it's OK to order smokers to stop smoking in their own homes and cars, and even on their own property.

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation...but it's wonderful when the EPA stops some evil, polluting landowner from farming his land or building a house (without compensation) because a lizard, bug or mouse may possibly be harmed and we all KNOW that the BFEE is guilty, so these restrictions don't apply to them.

A well regulated gas valve, being necessary to the security of a gas home, the ability of the occupants to cook and warm rooms, shall not be compromised.
