Congress sends Homeland bill to Obama without conditions

AP source, headline only.

I'm surprised the lefty mouth-breathers at AP didn't add "November electoral gains muted" to the headline.

It really pisses me off that all of the talking heads, both left and right said that the GOP would take a hit if there was another government shutdown.

They ignore the fact that conservatives made historic gains after the last shutdown.

There's not much you can do when the person you handed the tools they asked for throws them at your feet and spits in your face.

Not only that, Boehner and McConnell have actively opposed conservatives that were elected as a result of the TEA party.

is there any doubt we should un rino the party at all costs?   I Did NOT vote for the two rinos in texas this election.   Not staying home but voting libertarian instead even though I identify more with conservatives.   The rino power structure must be challenged and thrown out .   Seeing that my rino congressman voted for oboma again I am proud of my vote against the rinos.

Never liked Boehner and McConnell. They should know better for what happened to Cantor.

The assumption going into all this was that they didn't support the end goal. Now, as it stands, the lawsuit that the states filed will probably die because the court will say that Congress gave tacit approval.

Personally, I think they should have sent the funding bill from the House and put language in there reaffirming current federal law (i.e. no work permits) and requiring deportation of criminal illegals (just like 0 said in his speech). If what he's doing is just prosecutorial discretion, then that doesn't change anything, right?

Nothing is going to happen to these asses.  I'm so sick of being lied to by my own party.

Ho-hum.   Business as usual.

RINOs lie, illegals vote. (That doesn't rhyme, but nobody gives a shit anyway.)

As quoted by Ann Coulter's column today in Townhall, the immigration thing is all about the 11 million new Democratic voters that Barry and his thugs plan to use to finish destroying the country.

Everyone keeps talking about how we're not going to depart 10 to 20 million illegals.
How about we just start with the worse and then keep going ?
100,000 or more a year is doable.

A few simple laws and enforcement are all that's needed.

Any illegal caught in the US will serve 1 year in prison and then be deported. Any hearing for them to justify remaining in the US can be done during that sentence.

Any business or person caught employing an illegal will face a minimum $100k fine.

Here's the roll call.

You'll notice, of course, that Boehner voted Aye. The rest of the 75 Republican turncoats are also indicated -- their names should be dripping in blood.

Here's my email to my congresscritter, who was actually one of the Republicans that basically told Boehner to **** off.

I congratulate you in your vote to say "No" to Barack Obama. It's a crying shame that 75 of your alleged Republican colleagues couldn't vote the same way as you.

At this point, I have to be wondering very seriously about whether or not Congress still matters. Congress, as a body, can't seem to use the power of the purse to shut down an out-of-control president who dictates his agenda not through the legislative process, but through executive overreach.

Speaker Boehner should have been thrown out on his ear in January. He appears to me to be spineless, cowardly, and full of meaningless rhetoric.

For one, I hope that your colleagues can understand that the elections this past November were a direct call for all of you to put a stop to that tyrant in the White House. If you can't stop him, or better said, WON'T stop him, the electorate will stop all of you. The elections of 2016 are right around the corner.

How about we stop making this Country so inviting to them?  Start with cutting off welfare, free schooling, free medical, government material in any language other than English.  And any incidental contact with law enforcement (i.e. traffic stop or accident) where it is determined the person is illegal, they get deported.  Sorry if that is harsh, but if they are here illegally they should always be on edge and looking over their shoulders for the long arm of the law.

We seem to be bending over backwards to entice illegals into this Country rather than make it an unappealing place for them to want to avoid.

FIFY. You want to get a business's attention, you destroy one of them financially.

Hey, if I **** up certifying some Hazmat paperwork, I get hit personally, not the Army.

Yeah, like Mexico puts American Marines in Jail for "accidentally" crossing the border.

I can live with that.
My point so crudely made it seems is that we can do something about the problem through attrition.
We don't have to surge deport the whole lot at one go.
