He is making threats of rape.
The person who did this got suspended.
Brookdale Community College

Students and community members have rightfully expressed concerns regarding recent social media comments made by a Brookdale student.
The Twitter comments posted by this student are unacceptable and clearly violate the standards of conduct that are expected of all Brookdale students.
The student has been summarily suspended and will be scheduled for a conduct hearing where further disciplinary action will be taken. The Brookdale Police are actively investigating this matter. Brookdale takes this behavior very seriously and does not tolerate any form of harassment.
Our sincerest apologies to Gabby Schilling. Her achievement should be celebrated and not clouded by offensive comments.

Adam Nagel got suspended at Brookdale. He is a radio DJ for the college radio station. He is out. What a moron! I wonder what their DU names are.

Give these kids a break. they did nothing against their college so there should not be any penalties. Being outed for being stupid is more than enough. Colleges should have NO right to take any actions against ANY speech. Why should there even be anything like Brookdale police? What a horrible notion! I'm glad i went through that decades ago, this is too chilling.
There are rules at colleges they have to follow. Like it or not.

I have no problem with them being fired and disciplined; that's the right of their employer/school (though i don't believe you should lose your right to an education over this).
I do, however, question Schilling's response. You're a grown man using your powerful position to essentially destroy to young men in their very early 20's for essentially being morons. The long term damage done to them as a result of this is massive. What should he have done? I think he could've made a more profound impact by showing up to their doorstep abd teaching them a real verbal lesson.
Otherwise, in today's day of ignorant social media comments you should have expected some of this and simply shrugged your shoulders and moved on.

Wrong, anything bad that happens to them is entirely a consequence of their own actions. They're grown men, and totally deserve to bear the full weight of their own voluntary actions.

The next chapter in Curt Schilling vs. Twitter trolls morphed into one of baseball's most familiar clashes: the Boston Red Sox vs. the New York Yankees. And again, Schilling won, dismantling one Yankees employee in particular.
On Sunday, Schilling penned a 1,700-word blog post exposing some of the Twitter trolls who had been harassing him by sending sexually explicit messages about his 17-year-old daughter, who he had publicly congratulated for getting into college. In many cases, these tweets were far, far over the line, going past your typical locker-room bro bragging and even into unacceptable talk of rape.
Schilling called out two of the Twitter bozos in particular: Sean MacDonald and Adam Nagel, both of whom have since deleted their accounts. In the aftermath of Schilling's crusade, Nagel was suspended by Brookdale Community College, where he's a student, and MacDonald was terminated by the Yankees, where he worked as a part-time ticket seller. MacDonald's tweets aimed at Schilling's daughter — which we won't reproduce here, but you can find on Schilling's blog — included things like which sexual positions he'd use on her.
One has been suspended, the other lost his job. Stupid. Sean MacDonald got wallduded. :lmao: :yahoo:

I like Mr Shilling very much. I think cheap tweets are pathetic acts of cowards. Curt was right to defend his little girl. But unless the college owns that twitter account or the equipment the tweets were made on, they have no right to suspend this person and the police should keep their noses out of it all. I am a First Amendment absolutist. There are all kinds of bullies everywhere that must be dealt with. But that does not mean shredding the First Amendment. It means standing up to them, calling them out, naming them for what they are - cowards - and ostracizing them. That's how to do it.
Schools have rules and if you break them, you are out. First Amendment does not protect you from making threats.

Apparently one who doesn't know enough about the First Amendment to understand that it only restrains the government from interfering with freedom of speech, not employers, parents, schools, or people who own the media you try to use to air one's personal brand of stupidity and/or viciousness.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I'm glad that Mr. Schilling got back at them, and I would advocate the same if anyone went after, say, family of Mike Schmidt, Chipper Jones, or anyone.

"(F)or essentially being morons"? Threatening sexual violence is moronic, but much more and worse than that! These morons got what they deserved; if Schilling's willingness and capability to accomplish that surprised them, well, they are morons! Maybe the twit who made this stupid comment will understand better when (s)he has a daughter. Or at least I hope so, if only for the daughter's sake.
