Title: Going full bunkhouse
Post by: Big Dog on March 01, 2015, 01:58:55 PM
Howdy, buckaroos!

I'm fixing up my new bunkhouse, and I just finished a coathook/rifle rack set that I'm right proud of.

I started with old barn boards and horseshoes, cut and welded into hooks.

First, the coat hooks:

The rifle rack:

Yes, it's loaded.

I'm working on some other stuff to cowboy up the place, including someplace for a cowgirl to hang her hat when she comes a-visitin'. No mechanical bull, though- all buckin' will be 100% natural.

If I can find a painting of cowboy dogs playing poker, I'll be set!

Nice.

You can never have too many gun racks (or coat hooks).

It's a ton of fun to shoot, the action is smooth, and it's a tack-driver out to 50 yards.

Well within Northern Zone NY deer range.

My ammo guy loads up some .357 160gr cast flat nose that would do the job.

Mine has some 158 gr. JHPs that would easily do the job.  All I need now is the rifle! :whistling:
