Title: Classic bits, skits and movie clips
Post by: SSG Snuggle Bunny on March 01, 2015, 12:16:19 PM
Soldiers are required, each year, to have a physical performed in the name of "medical readiness." Though the unit I am in has gotten pretty good at getting the process to move at a fair pace there are inherent bottle necks, particularly the review with medical providers themselves. This means the Joes can spend an hour or more waiting.

In the past we have played movies for them to help keep them entertained and take some of the doldrums out of the wait but who wants to watch a movie for an hour and miss the beginning/ending?

So...

...I had the idea of collecting a bunch of bits, skits and movie clips from youtube that only take a few minutes each to watch and playing those.

I call it ADD-TV

It includes such things the "Always Be Closing" scene from Glengarry Glenross, "Total Eclipse of the Heart" as an earworm-inducing video, the Super Power Beatdown video pitting Batman against Deadpool, etc etc etc.

Post your suggestions but remember they have to PG-13'ish or tamer as this has to be for general audiences (meaning a General may wander through and you know how sensitive those souls can be).

Jesse Watters does these for Bill O'Reilly. They're short and funny.

Then there's this classic.
