Title: Leonard Nimoy died
Post by: I_B_Perky on February 27, 2015, 08:55:39 PM
Didn't see this posted anywhere, so for the trekkies among us, Spock died.   He was the only actor/actress I never got the chance to meet at a trekkie convention. Now I never will. I also liked him in Mission Impossible and his In Search Of series. :bawl:

"We are assembled here today to pay final respects to our honored dead. And yet it should be noted that in the midst of our sorrow, this death takes place in the shadow of new life, the sunrise of a new world; a world that our beloved comrade gave his life to protect and nourish. He did not feel this sacrifice a vain or empty one, and we will not debate his profound wisdom at these proceedings. Of my friend, I can only say this: of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most... human. " - James T. Kirk Star Trek II, The Wrath Of Khan

RIP Leonard "Spock" Nimoy.

For awhile there he was obsessed about his time remaining clock.
I hope it didn't stop on him unexpectedly.
83 is a good number of years past average life expectancy.
I hope he wasn't haunted and tortured of some impending doom.
In my grade school days I really enjoyed your work Leonard, and the rest of your career.
I hope the Good Lord has taken you and that you RIP.
