Giuliani stands by Obama comments

Quote
(CNN)—Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani said his office has received death threats since his controversial comments accusing President Barack Obama of not loving America.

"My secretary has received some death threats," Giuliani said in a brief interview by phone. But the former mayor emphasized the majority of the voice mails left at his office were supportive of his remarks. Giuliani did not say whether he alerted police to the threatening calls. CNN cannot confirm whether the threats were made.

As for his initial remarks that ignited the firestorm, spoken at a private dinner for Wisconsin's Republican Gov. Scott Walker, a potential 2016 presidential contender, Giuliani offered no apologies.

"I don't regret making the statement. I believe it," Giuliani said. "I don't know if he loves America," he added.

Rudy Giuliani is getting death threats for saying that Obama does not love America. When was the last time someone who criticized a president other than Obama get death threats?  :mental:

I heard the clip of his comments on Fox. I'd say that, in what he said, he tripled down.

I have a feeling that he said what a LOT of Americans have been thinking the past couple of years (and for many, a lot longer).

Well, if there had been death threats against W's critics, we would have seen all the DUmmies describing the threats they received.

I don't think BHO is a closet Muslim or a Christian. I think he sees his god in the mirror, shaving, every time he shaves. More to the point, BHO had HRC globe-trotting so much when she was SecState that I'm not sure she saw him in person that often. IMO, he paid her off by appointing her SecState and then "punished" her and limited her electoral power by keeping her out of the country.

His actions show that his sympathies lie more with Muslims than with Christians. But that could be just a part of his hatred towards western countries anyway.

I never really cared much for Rudy but now I wish he had been the 2008 nominee instead of Juan McCain - at least he would've stood up to that commie twit.

Now the MSM tools are trying to troll Scott Walker over what he thinks about what Rudy says - tells me he is the one. Rudy makes a great attack dog, a rare quality in the current GOP makeup.

And now that SOME of the GOP likely candidates have cracked the code (ie when asked to verify what another conservative said, reply "they're entitled to their opinion, and it is not my place to silence them" or something like that), he can truly attack without any blowback.

Well that's what I think has the media in a knot right now. They have gotten so used to republicans tucking tail and running over the years that I honestly think they're stumped now that a couple are holding their ground.

I found what Rudy said to be quite refreshing and quite accurate.
