I was in Chicago last week. -3 degrees when I walked to the office.

I really need a remote start for our car. I let that sucker warm up for 10 minutes which is longer than it takes me to drive to work. In fact, I could walk to work in less time, but it's too frelling cold.

The fan in my car is not working (the switch is bad), so I don't have heat in my car. Thank goodness it's only gotten as low as 18 here. As it is, I put a blanket over my lap and wear thick gloves when I'm driving to work. I also have been leaving an hour later giving the sun a chance to come up. I'm thankful that my boss understands and has no problem with me being an hour late.

We don't know what we're going to do if Old Man Winter keeps slamming us with these frigid 60° temperatures day in and day out. If I have to turn just one more shovel full of sunshine and clear blue sky in order to get out of my driveway to work in the morning, I'm gonna scream!!!

Love the map. :)
Two days ago a friend who's working in Miami calls and said "It's so cold! It's 52!" I was somewhere in the middle of MT and I respond "It's so warm! It's 51!"

Tomorrow, the low is supposed to be about -10. Perfect cavalry weather. :whistling: :fuelfire:

BTDT. :lmao:
I hate being cold. I got all of it I could use for the rest of my life as a tanker in Germany (Nobody's heater worked, and you could not order parts for anything that didn't deadline an MTOE system).
