The Obama White House wants to kill the jihadis with kindness.

While I understand the point Harf and the rest of the buffoons running this country were trying to make, she's just fundamentally wrong.
Osama was a child of wealth, Mohammed Atta was a fully-qualified engineer IIRC, MAJ Hasan was a real psychiatrist and field grade Army officer, and many of the dipshits in love with ISIS are middle class kids full of the same 'Change the world' bullshit kids have fallen for since sometime in the Old Stone Age. Yeah, there are plenty of poor people who support global jihad, but it doesn't depend on them at all.

Yes and no. It is true that the bin Ladens are a very wealthy family, but Osama was always the black sheep of his family. He was an illegitimate son to begin with, and his family officially disowned him when he was in his twenties.

What most people do not realize is that AQ, ISIS, Muslim Brotherhood, etc, has been around in some form for decades. It all began in the 50's and 60's by a man named Sayyid Qutb. He was a learned man too.

We are not fighting poverty. We are not fighting a bunch of guys that have no job or hope. We are not fighting a bunch of guys that would settle down if they would get laid. We are fighting an ideology/religion on par with what the japs were pre WW2.
The only way to win this war is to eradicate that ideology and all those who believe in it and I do mean ALL. You cannot debate these nuts. You cannot talk to them. You cannot reason with them. They are worse than the global warming nuts. The only thing you can do is kill them all because that is exactly what their goal is for us.

The only way to win this war is to eradicate that ideology and all those who believe in it and I do mean ALL. You cannot debate these nuts. You cannot talk to them. You cannot reason with them. They are worse than the global warming nuts. The only thing you can do is kill them all because that is exactly what their goal is for us.
Until the United States Government is willing to do just that, it will be pissing away money and men on this bullshit "war on terror". Since we will never kill hundreds of millions of men, women, and children in half of the sovereign nations across the globe, while simultaneously killing or imprisoning hundreds of thousands (or even millions) of American citizens based only on their religion, the only thing we can count on our government to do is continue to take our money and freedom in the name of protecting us from the eternal menace of vaguely-described "extremism".
Well guess what, my friends. I am an extremist. As Bary Goldwater said, "Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice... moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue." Maybe you are an extremist, too.

I agree Big Dog. It will happen sooner or later. Probably later just like WW2. We are heading toward the third world war whether or not we recognize it. I think Bush understood it hence Iraq. I think he started Iraq, not to take out Saddam, but to draw the Islamic nuts to a place where we could defeat them easier than Afghanistan. Then install a fairly friendly government that would turn the ordinary muslim against the nuts.
The only real question left is how many deaths on our side it will eventually cost. Kill enough Americans, and it will come, then there will be total war. America is good at total war.
