“Conservatives†Are Happy ISIS Killed Kayla Mueller.
Proof? no. Not really.
With this post, entitled “Kayla Mueller: Dead ISIS Hostage Was Jew-Hating, Anti-Israel Bitchâ€. This asshole Schlussel wrote the following:
No tears for the newly-departed Kayla Mueller, the ISIS hostage whose parents confirmed today that she is dead. Mueller was a Jew-hating, anti-Israel piece of crap who worked with HAMAS and helped Palestinians harass Israeli soldiers and block them from doing their job of keeping Islamic terrorists out of Israel. She also worked to prevent Israel from tearing down terrorists’ “houses,†which the Palestinian terrorists used to smuggle weapons from and to HAMAS in order to perpetrate terrorist attacks. And she wrote several lying, anti-Israel blog posts.
As I noted last week and many other times on this site, I have no sympathy for any of these “American†(in name only!) hostages of ISIS. And my attitude when I hear they’ve been snuffed out is, so sad, too bad. Every single one of these hostages has been a leftist America-hater. They are anti-American “journalists†there to tell us how “moderate†and “democratic†these beheaders and live-human-burners are. Or they are anti-American “aid workers†(that’s like the Middle East version of Barack Obama’s “community organizerâ€).
And then the heartless, despicable wretch finishes her “post†with this:
When people ask me what I think of Kayla Mueller, I’ll say, I think she’s incinerated.
Buh-bye, Kayla. Have fun with your 72 Yasser Arafats.
Hm... I guess I don't know this writer. Never heard of her. However- if the truth is that Kayla was pro-pal and anti-jew I find it extreamely ironic that ISIS took her hostage. Maybe a willing Hostage? Whatever- she died.
Attacked as “Enemy #1″ by Ms. Magazine (“Women to Watch . . . and Watch Out For,†February/March 2001), Schlussel is a frequent guest on ABC’s “Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher,†CBS’ “Early Show,†FOX News Channel’s “O’Reilly Factor,†“Hannity & Colmes,†“FOX News Live,†“Beyond the News,†and “Judith Regan Tonight,†Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,†MSNBC’s “Hardball with Chris Matthews,†“Buchanan & Press,†“The Abrams Report with Dan Abrams,†“Scarborough Country,†and “MSNBC Live,†CNN’s “Crossfire,†“Talk Back Live†and “Weekend Wrap,†C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal,†ESPN’s “Outside the Lines,†FOX Sports Net’s “Best Damn Sports Show Period,†and the Nationally Syndicated “America’s Black Forum†(hosted by NFL on FOX’s James Brown).
Oh, ok. I have seen her on O'Reilly.

4. Is being anti-Christian more or less a crime than being anti-Jewish? Because that screed was equally evil.
Well, I don't know about that but it seems Kayla's distorted world view was exactly that of Barry Obama's. Will Barry learn anything from Kayla's misfortune? Doubtful.

7. And all of Free Republic too. They're ecstatic that the "Jew-hater" (their words) was killed. I noticed that their language is exactly the same as the writings of these hacks. It's sad that they can't think for themselves and need idiots to tell them what to think. If you want to throw up, head over to that cesspool.
No- that's ok. I dislike FR a bunch. However- the very person who ISIS is 'fighting' for, a 'open minded' person from the west, pro-hamas and anti-Islael was kidnapped out of a hospital by ISIS and them died in their custody.
That sucks.

They forgot Andy, and Deadstone, and that fat Breaking News retard.

Their legacies rest in the hands of decent and civilized people, since Dummies don't give a damn.

I only recall Schlussel from some scorched-earth battle the Rottweiler had with her, I believe he characterized her as a psycho with a vile disposition. As far as the late hostage, I would not jump to any conclusions about her politics or attitude toward Jews or anyone else based on what a bunch of assholes with their own agendas write on the internet.

Yeah but Rachel Corrie spread herself rather thin where as Mueller spread herself all over the place.

I found this interesting http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2948520/Was-Kayla-Mueller-forced-marry-ISIS-commander-New-details-death-American-aid-worker-suggest-soldiers-sold-leader-Syria.html
New details have emerged in the wake of the death of Kayla Mueller suggesting the American aid worker in Syria may have been handed over to an ISIS commander following her kidnapping.
The 26-year-old Arizona native was often seen in the company of an ISIS commander who was being tracked actively by US intelligence, insiders tell ABC News, and she may even have been forced into marriage with the jihadi leader.

This is an interesting twist in the story.
All people are God's children, but if someone has been indoctrinated into islam I am able to muster little to no sympathy for them.
Of course I have an affinity for God's chosen.

and she may even have been forced into marriage with the jihadi leader.
She's a little long in the tooth to be considered marriage worthy by an ISIS commander. She passed the age limit at least 15 years ago.

Op-Ed: Who Was Kayla Mueller?
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/16455
This could very well explain why the administration is NOT going to investigate her death.
http://www.wsj.com/articles/american-hostage-kayla-mueller-death-confirmed-1423582415
The U.S. military isn’t conducting an investigation to determine whether Ms. Mueller was killed by the Jordanian airstrikes because defense officials don’t consider the Islamic State claims to be credible, said Rear Adm. John Kirby, the Pentagon press secretary.
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/02/10/isis-hostage-kayla-mueller-is-dead.html
U.S. Won’t Investigate ISIS Hostage’s Death
U.S. officials confirmed that the 26-year-old American aid worker is deceased but say there’s no evidence a Jordanian airstrike killed her, as the terrorists claim—and the Pentagon won’t look into how she died.
It sounds like she was a civilian Bowe Bergdahl. I feel for her family, but...
-
While Debbie Schlussel has some following, it's rather stupid to claim she represents the views of conservatives generally.
I realize DU-folk, like many Libs and Progs, are not likely to view people they bitterly hate as complex, but my feelings about Mueller are just that. She was doing reprehensible things, acting from a worldview that probably set her up for being kidnapped (raped?) and eventually killed. I don't think Mueller deserved to be killed - and it certainly is a tragedy for her family - but sometimes the consequences of foolishness are far greater than the foolishness itself.
Like Rachel Corrie, Kayla Mueller went to the ME with a worldview that (among other things) saw Jews as evil, and the various flavors of Arabs as their victims. Whether or not she realized it, the Arabs, at least, proved her wrong, fatally wrong.
So, for me, her death was sad and the culmination of a very sad life.

Ye-e-e-e-e-eahhhh ... I should have read that IsraelNationalNews article before posting what I did above. Mueller was an active, on the spot, abettor of terrorists; being an "aid worker" was coincidental to that purpose. I think a very substantial and persuasive argument could be made that she did deserve something very close to what she got.

From Wikipedia: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cenk_Uygur)
Cenk Kadir Uygur (Turkish pronunciation: [ˈdʒɛɲc ˈujɡur]; born March 21, 1970) is a Turkish-American columnist, political commentator and activist. Uygur is the main host and co-founder of the American liberal/progressive political and social internet commentary program, The Young Turks (TYT) and the co-Founder of the associated TYT Network. ...
In addition to hosting TYT, Uygur appeared on MSNBC as a political commentator in 2010, later hosting a weeknight commentary show on the channel for nearly six months until being replaced by Al Sharpton.[5] Shortly after leaving MSNBC, Uygur secured a show on Current TV that aired from December 5, 2011 to August 15, 2013.[6] Uygur was from 2012 to 2013 the chief news officer of Current TV, succeeding Keith Olbermann following his departure from the cable television network until Current was acquired by Al Jazeera Media Network.
Just another Prog trying to mountainize the anthill of people looking at who Kayla Mueller really was into a political K2.

Debbie Schlussel has been at war with virtually every well known conservative for years. It's kind of a shame that none of them seemed to notice. I used to read her movie reviews for fun because she hates almost everything.
She is an attention whore, so I'm sure she loves this. It's unfair to claim she is any kind of spokesperson for conservatives, but I don't think any of us are expecting fair. Anything that knots up the enemy's panties is okay with me.

Speaking of Rachel Corrie:
Rachel Corrie's family loses wrongful death appeal in Israel's supreme court
Family of US woman killed in Gaza 12 years ago had sought to hold Israel liable for her death, but judges uphold decision of lower court in Haifa
Israel’s supreme court has rejected the appeal by the family of Rachel Corrie – the US activist who was crushed to death by a military bulldozer in Gaza 12 years ago – which had sought to hold Israel liable for her death.
The ruling, which followed a high-profile hearing before Israel’s top court last year, appears to bring to an end – in the Israeli courts at least – years of effort by Corrie’s family to hold the country’s military responsible for her death.

Bad news for the primitives; look what the Red Chinese are doing to Skippy's pals:
China forces imams to dance in street
In China, imams are being forced to dans, at the same time being made to make an oath to keep children away from religion - public servants are forced to brandish the slogan that "our income comes from the CKP not from Allah".
The imams of the mosques in the Xinjiang (East Turkestan) have been forerced to gather in a square dancing en masse. State Chinese news have said that in the name of "civilization" the imams have been forced to dance in the town square. At the same time they were forced to chant out slogans such as 'peace of the country gives peace to the soul". Many of the imams were forcibly given Chinese flags - the same demonstration also included university students.
During the speeches, young people were told to stay away from mosques, and that the prayer was harmful to ones health and instead were encouraged to dance. Female teachers were instructed to teach children to stay away from religious education and made to swear an oath that they will keep children away from religion.

Actually, there's something very curious.
A few years ago, Ms. Ed the unappellated eohippus, the Horse With no Name primitive, along with the hippywife primitive Mrs. Alfred Packer, launched a jihad against products from Red China.
Which confused me greatly, because the primitives were supposed to be enthusiastic supporters of Mao-Tse-tung socialism, and so should've been big buyers of Red Chinese products, so as to help them along.
The evil George Bush was president at the time, and this was a prime opportunity to humiliate him and America, by helping the fraternal Red Chinese become the #1 economy in the world, replacing ours.
But no; the primitives decided to boycott their socialist pals.
There's no consistency here.

KAYLA MUELLER AND THE HISTORY OF WESTERNERS GIVING THEIR LIVES TO THE MIDDLE EAST (http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/02/13/kayla-mueller-and-the-history-of-westerners-giving-their-lives-to-the-middle-east/)
by DR. PHYLLIS CHESLER

For centuries, Westerners have been lured by the “mysterious†East. Fortune hunters, explorers, adventurers, businessmen, diplomats, journalists, artists, missionaries, and humanitarian aid workers have all fled the confines of the West for lives of drama and danger.
The tragic Kayla Mueller wrote on her blog: “This is really my life’s work, to go where there is suffering. I suppose, like us all, I’m learning how to deal with the suffering of the world inside myself…to deal with my own pain and most importantly to still have the ability to be proactive.â€
...
Like Kayla Mueller, many Americans have felt both obligated and entitled to help others—an ideal many hold dear. The question is: Why travel to Iranian backed Assad- and ISIS-controlled Syria now? Yes, the plight of the persecuted Christians and Kurds and Yazidis, especially in Iraq, cries out for rescue, as does that of all civilian refugees in the region.
The White House has a lot to be guilty about regarding its military strategy—but why would young and tender civilians think that their becoming ministering angels can really make enough of difference?
...
Kayla Mueller supported the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), which immediately sought to capitalize on her murder by canonizing her politically. To some, such politics is viewed as a form of righteous resistance. It is not viewed as a politically correct conformist position, which it certainly is– or, in the worst cases, as an example of a Westerner making common cause with totalitarian Islamism, anti-Americanism, and genocidal anti-Semitism.
My colleague Joel Pollak wrote a sane, sad, soulful and rather mild piece about Mueller. He wondered whether she could have been “misled, tragically, about Islamic ‘resistance.’†He inherited a bit of a backlash. Those who share Mueller’s beliefs and/or who view her death as somehow sacred were offended.
Their anger is misplaced. It should be focused on the barbarians who held Mueller captive and then murdered her—not on a journalist who has every right to raise any question under the sun.
Somehow, I don't think the Libs and Progs who have been tarring conservatives with Debbie Schlussel's, Good riddance and go to Hell article will be quoting from or acknowleding the existance of Phyllis Chesler's much more muted article. Or the article by Joel Pollack (http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/02/11/kayla-mueller-appears-to-have-been-misled-about-islamic-resistance/) that Phyllis Chesler linked. It's not that Breitbart.com's conservative credentials are questionable out of the mainstream, it's just that their articles don't fit the hateful crazed conservatives narrative.

Assuming she was misled and not fully understanding what she was doing and the context, IMO, it's a 100%-100% thing. Those who misled her are 100% responsible for that; Mueller was 100% responsible for failing to recognize what she was doing and among whom. As Pollack pointed out, she could very easily have talked to Israelis who had experienced Pali Arab violence, but evidently did not.

Pollack, Chesler, and Schlussel pointed out the same facts, +/-5%. Schlussel's comment based on those facts was, essentially, good riddance and go to Hell. Pollack and Chesler didn't go anywhere near "there"; they didn't jump to the same conclusion - that Mueller was knowingly doing evil - that Schlussel seems to have leaped.
