I'm curious what other places have been getting so I just thought I'd ask.
So far we've gotten I think officially 4 ft total (?) on the Island, but much of it has drifted. It's the most snow I've seen on the ground at one time in almost 10 years though. I don't mind it though, I enjoy the cold and the snow.
At least one of my widows is covered by snow, and I've not bothered digging it out yet. Some (crap) photos of the snow I took just as another storm was hitting last week. http://imgur.com/a/zH0YF

We've had less than a foot total all winter. No more than 2-3 inches at any one time. So far all the big storms have fizzled out before hitting us in central Illinois.
-
We had a dusting of snow in early December. Haven't seen a lick of snow since. :)
-
Zip, zero, nada. Lowest temp so far 38.
-
Not much in the way of snow in our neck of the woods.
The home of Wally World.
Maybe an inch total.
-
We had a bunch--about 18 inches--on the ground, and we got about 8 inches from the latest storm. My postage-stamp-sized front yard is about 5 feet high, from all of the snow from the driveway that I've had to put onto it. The various shrubs are taking it well--as my wife said, "They'll grow back."

Holy smoke, compaqxp!! Get that thing dug up!
LOL. We've had zero snow this year but we got some last year and it's usually about 10 years between snow for us.

Here in southeast Kansas, we had a small snow in November, maybe one other dusting. It's now shirt-sleeve weather most days. They're already burning off pastures everywhere.
-
We expect 70-75 inches a year. The most I've had on the ground at my house this winter has been 16". Last year we had 100" total.
We get most of our snow storms in the spring. But they don't last long and really help plants for the summer.
-
I talked to my Mom yesterday.
Albany area has had their fair share of snow.
-
Way, way too much.
And my poor guy, NHSparky, is currently working in Worcester, MA, which recently has been named the city with the most snowfall so far this year, at 91", if I'm not mistaken. We aren't far behind that here at home.
Enough already, but more is on the way up here in New England. :banghead:

If you get much more, you will find that AlGore has scheduled a glow bull warming speech there.
-
north-central Missouri, maybe 3 inches total all winter. Which is a real pisser, since I bought a 4' blade for my John Deere lawn tractor because I'm tired of shoveling this shit. :rotf:
Winter ain't over, though. We could very well get dumped on big time (and probably will) before February is behind us.

We have more snow than we need. The tricky part is getting out of the driveway, because we have Mt Everest on both sides. Many of the major cities are having major problems finding a place to put the dang stuff. A lot of closings in the last two weeks, schools, Sunday Church service, and businesses. Many people refuse to drive in it, and I am like why do they live in New England where we can have snow 5 months out of the year?? :o.
Our district manager was pissed, because 22 people called out last Monday. He felt that the roads weren't that bad to have so many people call out. I agree with him. It is always the same people that call out too.  . I called out that very first Tuesday, because the governor declared a state of emergency. If not I get my ass out of bed.... :thatsright:
on a side note I made myself some snow pants!!
-
Got six inches of the white stuff last night.
Thank God for my John Deere lawn tractor with the 4' blade. As it was, it took me an hour to plow out my driveway. My back would've told me to pound sand had I had to shovel that crap. :p
All in all, comparatively speaking, north-central Missouri has not had a tough winter at all, certainly not by last year's standards. You guys up in New England got hammered. :o
-
We got slush.
-
6" last night with a sleet base.
Thank God for all this glow bull warming we are getting.
-
We have a hint a slight chance, of snow, sleet and freezing rain for tonight. So when I went to town this morning the road was white with that brine mixture and the parking lot at the water plant was white with rock salt and was very crunchy under my tires. So much for the crunchy news, all indications are, no snow for us because of all the preparations for it....GREAT.
-
We have a have inch of powder on the ground, but might get more this week. No temperatures above freezing for the next 8-10 days.
-
We've got even more recently. It's making driving fun as they can't keep up with the shear amount that keeps falling. http://i.imgur.com/RxatvCm.jpg
So far the last week has been steady -20C most days and thus the car doesn't like starting in the morning very much.
-
We've got about 8 inches on the ground and 1-3 expected over night.
-
Right now 2-3 ft on the ground.
-
Colder than hillary's tits here in Chicago but not much snow.

It was colder than Hitlery's testicles in a brass jock strap here. I didn't know that she had mammarian protruberances. She would need to be female for that to happen.
He had a total of ~15 inches of Man Made GlowBull Warming over a few days.

Hillary has tits?
Jeez, who knew? :p

Technically, they're Huma's, but Hillary gets to play with them.

Snowing in Dallas this morning.
-
We had 8" on the ground around the Christmas holiday, then winter set in and there were warm tropical breezes and abundant sunshine in the Salt Lake metropolitan area for the past couple of months.
Now we're back on the board with about ½" of new snow on the ground this evening, and not quitye sure what to do with it all.
:fuelfire:  :rotf: :whistling:
-
We have a few more inches of Man Made Glowbull Warming that are still falling on top of the 16 inches that was already there.
-
It started late last night and hasn't stopped, yet. We have about 4-5 new on top of the 6-8 that was left from the last one.
-
Just finished shoveling all of this Manmade Glowbull Warming. It was the really wet and heavy stuff too.
-
We got another 1 1/2" overnight. Supposedly, we'll get another 1 to 3 inches tomorrow night.
-
We had freezing rain all night but the roads are OK. Had to chop out my car this morning though. Then, I ducked giant slabs of ice flying off the tops of tractor trailers all the way to work! Supposed to be more crap tomorrow (sigh . . .).
-
It is sunny ,but cold. We are supposed to get another 2 inches tonite. Most of the people are concerned it will get too warm too fast, and cause major water damage, and flash floods.
-
We had some freezing rain over night, but it's warmed up to @35 today. :)
-
Sleeting for the last hour -- crap. I need to get out before it gets too bad. Roads are all backed up

Just drive safe!!
-
We had maybe 3/4" to an inch from this. It was heavy to shovel.
-
4" to 8" inches starting tonight :censored:. Tomorrow may be a snow day

The closest it's going to get to me might be West Point. I'm sure that catsmtrods might see some.
-
We did end up with close to 10" inches yesterday. Started around 6:30 am and ended about 8 last night.
-
Our forecast for yesterday was 4" - 8" we got 12". :whatever:
-
Our snowfall total in the area is right around the 2 foot mark.
-
We got 2-3 inches Monday morning, but the sun has melted most of it from the roads. It looks nice and you can still drive to the store if you want to.
-
It's a beautiful day today, sun is shining! Hopefully a lot will melt, :-)
-
After reading through this thread, glad we're in Florida. Feel bad about griping about how cool it's been here. At least we're not shoveling snow.
-
In one of my places we've gotten about 4' total over the winter. In another, further north, we've only had about 14". At one daughter's area they've had maybe 6 or 8" of snow. They grow hay and are hoping for some good spring snow storms. Their ground has cracks in it already.
We'll see how the summer shapes up.

Spring is officially here.
Spring has sprung.
And there is snow falling in northern parts of the lower 48.

I'm wondering how much runoff the Adirondacks are going to produce . . . A cousin of mine lives on the Mohawk River, and is used to being flooded out.

That is where she keeps her email copies

Getting back to the OP, Fairbanks AK got almost 7 inches of snow two nights ago.
