On his list of failures, does this come in above or below "24 business hours"?

I rate it above '24 business hours', but below 'statutory rape'.

Don't do anything illegal.
Do not post messages which violate any U.S. laws (eg. linking to illegally-shared files, attempting to organize hacking or DOS attacks, libel/slander, etc.). Organizing civil disobedience with a legitimate political purpose is permitted.

I liked this comment on the newsbuster's article:

Give the guy a break; Brian Williams was his source.

The pic they used of him looks like that guy that imitates Kenny Rogers :whistling:

For some reason, "Wee Willie" and "EXPOSED", used in the same sentence, just sent a chill down my spine, and made me throw up in my mouth... :puke:

From the link.
Notorious fraudster William Rivers Pitt posted yet another false "scoop" at the Democratic Underground. No, nothing yet about Karl Rove being indicted. That was guaranteed in his May 2006 "scoop" and we are still waiting 24 business hours for this mythical event to materialize. This time around Pitt posted a "scoop" about TurboTax supposedly being hacked. One little problem; it wasn't true. And a TurboTax spokesperson even posted on Pitt's thread about the truth of the matter due to the misinformation spread on the Web by Pitt's veracity challenged "scoop."
DU is one giant fraud. Probably a Ponzi scheme. :mental:

I thought DUmmies engage in illegal activities. I recall the Secret Service paid a visit a few times. People who get banned from DU are not doing anything illegal. By their rules, Pitt should be banned from DU. No?

He should, but it will never happen. Pitt is unbannable at the DUmp, Skinner seems to think that he is some sort of celebrity.

All this time I didn't think he was a real person. :thatsright:
I wonder how many DU'ers are really his sock puppets. :lmao:

I wonder how much a TurboTax law suit might eat out of the trust fund?
Might the wee one have to...gasp...work for a living?

If I recall, Pitt was one of the founders of DU I think. Many others get banned or timed out at DU, including Nadin.

He was banned for a short while when he threatened to kill Bobolink, but Skinner let him come slinking back after he said he was sorry.

An appropriate response. We would be worried about you if you said it sent a tingling feeling down your leg. :-)

Prissy Chrissy mistook a bladder control problem for a "tingle down his leg." Or maybe we heard him wrong, maybe he said "tinkle" instead of "tingle"... :rotf:

From DU's TOS:
Organizing civil disobedience with a legitimate political purpose is permitted.
Sooooo ........ I could go there next year and urge people to participate in the annual March for Life? Or give the locations for next weekend's picket of an abortuary by Survivors (http://www.survivors.la/)? :whistling: For some reason I expect that post would be hidden or deleted within hours or minutes, and I'd be given the right foot of disfellowship. :hammer: :whistling:

Double standard. I've seen people at DU who get banned who done nothing. :mental:

If all of Pitt's sock puppets were banned, DU's traffic would drop considerably.

I think you have to prove harm to succeed in a libel suit. There ain't a DUchebag that files so there would be no loss of revenue to Ituit. However, if a company has a legal department they pay for all the time why not use it and run up the legal bills for the biggest lying DUche on the site. I would as a couple hundred hours at $400 per, would put a dent in his unearned stash of cash.

Threatened? How many times has Bobolink posted since then... :tinfoil2:

I'm guessing that all of those lawyers could find a way to establish a dollar value on damage from Pitt's drunken spews- even if it's just the cost of all those lawyers.

And I love that picture of Pitt, it's a classic. :loser:
