Ok, get this: IF the US hadn't gone to war in Iraq we have never have removed Saddam and so he would have been our Ally against ISIS.
Yeah... it's a huge stretch but ok, sure. Saddam would have fought against ISIS. ::)

Nobody wants to admit this: Saddam Hussein would be our ally against ISIS
He was a secular dictator who hated Islamofascists and treated them ruthlessly.
Were he alive today, I think the US (be it Obama, Bush or whoever) would be relying on Saddam quite a bit against ISIS.

1. I'll admit it.
I never thought taking out Saddam was a good idea.
I opposed the Iraq war tooth & nail.
He was a horrible person, but he kept a brutal peace.
A brutal peace is preferable to anarchy and the rule of religious fanatics.
IF we could only rewrite the history books Hitler would have been our Ally against Stalin... but the DUmpmonkies love Stalin, so Hitler would still be a bad guy.

4. No doubt...he fought Iran to a standstill on behalf of the USA. No reason to think he'd have been any less of a valuable asset throughout the region today.
What the hell could Bush (GHWB # 41) have been thinking.

7. I admit it, and said so just yesterday. It's a fact that Saddam Hussein helped further American and other Western goals in the region, look what that ended up getting him in the end. Now the region is full to the brim with warring Islamic factions with no end in sight.

12. ISIS is not really religious in the way Muslim Brotherhood or even Al Qaeda is they are more of a criminal gang .
Barry should send policemen to arrest them then.
It is just suprising the extent the DUmpmonkies go to rewrite history in order for it to fit their world picture.

Muammar Gaddafi was contained and not actively opposing the US. Bashar al-Assad was not actively opposing the US.
Obama helped to overthrow Gaddafi and is trying to help overthrow Assad.
Libya is in turmoil. Syria is still undergoing a civil war and gave birth to ISIS. Rebels that Obama supported in Syria formed ISIS.

Nah... Sadaam would still be wiping out the Kurds, one of the only groups actively fighting ISIS.

Saddam was a power hungry dictator and madman with no regard to human life.
No one could guess what he would exactly be doing if he was not dead other then a safe assumption it would be whatever would seem a logical (to him) means to the end of becoming the mid east strong man.

Gaddafi had been "playing nice" with the US since Reagan bombed his house. You're right, Syria wasn't a threat, Libya wasn't a threat, Egypt wasn't a threat, UNTIL Barry decided to side with the Muslim Brotherhood during the so called "Arab Spring".
Barry the "golden boy" doesn't have a the Midas touch, he has the Fecal touch. Everything he touches turns to $hit!

Saddam attacked Iran, you stupid tool, which only reinforced the crazy Shi'ite mullahs in their paranoia and entrenched them more deeply than they already were in power. And as far as Bush goes, there was the small matter of Saddam invading another country, Kuwait, that had to be dealt with. You may have noticed, but for your severe cognitive impairment of being a DUmmie, that Saddam's aggression against states bordering him was the common factor in both conflicts, not any supposed mutuality or benign neutrality between him and the US.

The DUmmy "logic" on this makes as much sense as Dr. Nutz insisting that if we hadn't meddled in Iran in '53 the revolution in 1979 would have never happened.

I have seen a video where Saddams henchmen also threw blindfolded,hands tied behind their back people of the tops of buildings.
Of course,if that were the current situation with no Gulf wars,I have no doubt the DUmp mutants would be saying "Yeah,but we have done ..."
