If I were Netanyahu, I would politely inform the Congress that I could not appear to speak to them, since diplomatic relations are a matter for the Executive Branch to deal with. If I were President Obama, I would have my Secretary of State send a message to Netanyahu explaining that diplomatic relations are a matter for the President, not Congress and that his address to the Congress would create an issue with ongoing relationships, and that he should consider declining.
That's what I'd do. We'll see if that's what ends up happening. Boehner is overstepping his role in government.
The irony of the leftist punk bitching about ANYONE overstepping his role in government is simply staggering.

2. I won't be surprised if this is what ends up happening. Frankly, I think the same thing applies to Pope Francis addressing Congress. We have division of power in the U.S. for a reason.
I doubt Barry has the balls to stand up to anyone. However, I do see the Islaeli PM telling Barry to go **** himself.

4. Well, I see that the address to Congress has been rescheduled to March. I suspect that Secretary Kerry has send a billet doux to Netanyahu. The address may well not take place, after all, due to "scheduling issues." I'll be watching for that announcement. If it comes, the communications will have taken place through official diplomatic channels.
::) Barry and the left have done everything short of opening fire on Israel since 2008. Why would Israel trust anything the left says?

9. did Boner ask Netanyahu, or did Nety (get some group to) ask/force Boner? If it is found that Netanyahoo got some group like AIPAC to get Johnny to "invite" him to speak to Congress, shouldn't someone go to jail for corruption?
The leftists so want to overthrow the government. They stink of the desperation for that one thing. If they could figure out a way for Barry to declare 'Marshall Law' and do away with the elections they would jump and clap and laugh and cry...
... until they were all rounded up by Barry's special police and eleminated.

The mineral oil primitive is one DUmb mother****er.
The Speaker of the House decides who addresses the House. It is his prerogative alone to invite the Senate and/or the Chief Executive to attend.
His house, his rules.

“On 9-10 May of this year,†the May 14 memorandum explained, “Sen. Edward Kennedy’s close friend and trusted confidant [John] Tunney was in Moscow.†(Tunney was Kennedy’s law school roommate and a former Democratic senator from California.) “The senator charged Tunney to convey the following message, through confidential contacts, to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Y. Andropov.â€
Kennedy’s message was simple. He proposed an unabashed quid pro quo. Kennedy would lend Andropov a hand in dealing with President Reagan. In return, the Soviet leader would lend the Democratic Party a hand in challenging Reagan in the 1984 presidential election.

Today, though, led by Michigan's David Bonior in the House and Christopher Dodd (may his father, the late senator, forgive him) of Connecticut in the Senate, many Democrats in Congress think so well of Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua that they are willing to sell the Democratic Party in order to save him. They want to stop aiding the rebels who are bound gradually to defeat Ortega if they are supported steadily at moderate levels.
Ortega is certainly afraid of defeat. He has said that the coming vote in Congress on Contra aid is "the most decisive" moment in the history of the Sandinista Revolution. One may take that to mean that the rebels are no idle threat. Even though they received only $100 million for one year, they put the Sandinistas (who last year received $600 million from the Soviets) in a state of alarm.
Kill aid to the rebels, Democrats like Bonior and Dodd are saying. Turn them over to the Sandinistas. Hang all 15,000 of them out to dry. The important thing is to stop the fighting. Capitulate to the Sandinistas. Let Daniel Ortega rule.
Distinguished legislators Bonior and Dodd do not seem to realize that they are tying their own reputations forevermore to the atrocities yet to be committed in the name of the one-party, Leninist state of Nicaragua.

In 1984, Kerry met with Communist Nicaraguan Dictator Daniel Ortega in an effort to frustrate the anti-Communist policies of Ronald Reagan.
And that's Dung Heap Harkin with him.

Treaties are negotiated by the executive and ratified by the legislative.
Seeing how barry declared himself outside the legislative why should they feel compelled to not act outside him when it is a matter of protocol not Constitutional?

So ... were I to research the records of non-Congress critters who have spoken before the House, Senate, and joint sessions, I would not find a single foreign leader? That's ridiculous - and false (http://www.voanews.com/content/a-13-2009-03-04-voa21-68772377/410831.html) - on its face! Finding that news story took me all of 10 seconds on Duck Duck Go, so did Mineral Due just not bother to research his grandiose "constitutional" objection? And short of [hyperbole] a CBG going into the Med and bombing Israel [/hyperbole] US-Israel relations could hardly be worse than they are, thanks to the anti-Israel hostility of Obama and his MALAdministration!
