Five examples of true statements regularly used as code for false statements.
1: Zionists control America.
Why it's true: Barack Obama is a zionist; Joe Biden is a zionist; virtually all the members of the Senate and Congress are zionists; there are virtually no anti-zionist voices in mainstream American political discourse.
What it's used as a code for: Jews control America.
2: Not all rape is real/legitimate rape.
Why it's true: in some jurisdictions, teenagers experimenting together are both technically guilty of rape. This is why registers and blanket statements about sex offenders and the like make me twitchy.
What it's used as a code for: both "Having sex with someone without their consent is not always wrong" and "a high fraction of accusations of rape are lies".
3: Black-on-black crime is a serious problem.
Why it's true: it absolutely is.
What it's used as a code for: Discrimination against black people by white people is not a serious problem.
4: Violence is a predictable consequence of insulting religion.
Why it's true: it often is, especially where Islam is concerned.
What it's used as a code for: It's wrong to insult religion, and if people react violently to your doing so then you are to blame.
5: "Both political parties indulge in this"; "There are people of all races who do this"; "Both sides in this war have committed crimes" and similar statements
Why it's often true: often they do.
What it's used as a code for: Both parties indulge in this *to the same extent*, so you shouldn't try to distinguish between them on it or draw a connection between it and one party (and mutatis mutandis for the other examples).
What? :whatever:

Let me be perfectly clear.
When Obama says that, you can guarantee he is about to lie his ass off.

My first thought, too.

He doesn't have to warn us with that disclaimer. If his lips are moving, I guarantee he's lying.

Which leads me to wonder has Obama, most merciful, piss be upon him, weighed in on "Deflate Gate"? Seems like with his expertise in expelling hot air he would be a natural. :lmao:

Liberal code phrases:
"It's for the children." = We are going to screw you over and take away your freedoms.
"I'm from the govt, and I'm here to help." = We are going to screw you over and take away your freedoms.
"We need to pass it to see what is in it." = We are going to screw you over and take away your freedoms.
"The FCC needs to regulate the internet to ensure neutrality." = We are going to screw you over and take away your freedoms.

Ditto. The DUmmie doesn't lay out any way to tell whether the person saying the thing is saying it because in context it's really true, or is being used as a code word. All it means is that anything true you tell a DUmmie will be met with a bunch of "That's just a dog-whistle" crap so they won't have to deal with the truth.
Also what thundley and Mr. Mannn said.

Libs love to accuse conservatives of using "code words" to twist their words, and to stifle dissent.

Anytime a liberal/commie/democrat accuses you of something, they are guilty of it themselves.

One of our fellow Cavers has a sig line that says...Accuse others of what you are guilty of -Marx-

That sounds more like Saul Alinsky, but liberals tend to sound all alike after a while.

Alinsky, Marx, Stalin, Lenin, Barry, DUmmies...
They are all alike, they're all commies.

OK. Now, it sorta makes sense. Maybe if I stand on my head and jab an ice pick in each ear. ::)

It's probably the most descriptive phrase of these idiots that I've ever come across. Nonstop projection. No (D)Ummie, anywhere, has been able to refute it, especially as it was "coined" as such, by one of their gods. They just disappear, or proceed to set the controls to ad hominen.

Whatever his favored brand of cannabis might be, it's clearly some bad @#$% that has him off in CloudCuckooLand!

Libs assert many claims to be truth...

Then they have to retract them.
