Is there one African-American woman on American cable or TV

with natural hair. I am talking about newsrooms and programs not sitcoms.

That too is institutional racism.

Progs demand and expect blacks not only to act and vote in a pre-approved manner, now they want them to wear their hair according to liberal law.  What next?

"The man is on the Court. You know, I hope his wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter and he dies early like many black men do, of heart disease. Well, that’s how I feel. He is an absolutely reprehensible person."

Seriously? Whoo- Hoo!
First 'Here Comes Honey Boo- Boo' gets the old heave- ho, and now 'The View' is going to get the axe too! I'm starting to have hope for the future of American television!

Has Rosie the Rhino (My nickname for O'Donnell) given a loud public statement openly accusing the network and viewers of homophobia for it yet?

Okay, so blacks are using hair straightening products because whites are racist.... AND

.. being white and getting your hair done in 'Box Braids' is considered 'cultural appropriation', which also means whites are racist. Got it.  :whatever:

I have to say that's the funniest non sequitur I've ever read.

Good one!

And the one about the hot black chick having a fling with a white president - and some others I can't think of right off hand

Well, it's Michelle O's fault.  She straightens her hair, and after zero first got elected, my hairdresser told me that all kinds of calls were coming in to ask how they, too, could have Michelle hair.  They threw a fit at the cost, though.  $250 and up.  My hairdresser had the distinct impression they expected it to be free.

Bo Derek had braids. I don't remember any DUmmies complaining about that.

BTW: I never saw the movie "10".

In a world of men with ear-to-ear carpeting, women who dye or bleach their hair every month or two, and make-up that gets a new layer during commercial breaks and has to be taken off with a cold chisel. what is "natural"? Not that there's much natural about the hairstyles of many/most black women walking about Oakland or Hunter's Point or ... for that matter, what is natural about hair that is cut, washed, or styled? Are the DU-folk invoking a stereotype of blacks?

My (naturally blonde) daughter once had her hair braided that way for a couple of months. She was in Suva, Fiji, and the humidity had her hair frizzing out, doubling the circumference of her head. Between not snagging her hair when she was going around the city and the low maintenance of the style, it was very practical for her. It was done for her by a Fijian, who would have been either of Melanesian or Indian ancestry (or both). Neither are African people groups, so where's the "cultural appropriation"?
