Rumors Swirl: Obama To Kneecap The Koch Brothers With Citizens United Executive Order
It is being reported that one of President Obama’s surprises at the State Of The Union will be an announcement of an executive order that will take on the Koch Brothers and Citizens United.
Eleanor Clift of The Daily Beast reported:
Wednesday is the fifth anniversary of Citizens United, and reformers have been told that the president may announce executive action in his SOTU speech that would require businesses contracting with the government to disclose political contributions after contracts have been awarded. This would ensure that the contracting process is blind, but also give the public (and the media) the information needed to connect the dots to look for backroom deals or conflicts of interest.
Guess who happens to have multi-million dollar contracts with the Department of Defense? The federal government hating Koch Brothers have tens of millions of dollars in defense contracts with the federal government. Rush Limbaugh also has a federal government contract that allows his showto be broadcast on the American Forces Network.

19. I don't think the Citizens United decision included a provision for anyone to hide their...
.....contributions, just that there would be no limits on them. Also, I don't think the Koch Brothers have been hiding them, either. So, I doubt that this Executive Order, if it is as presented above, really won't change much.

California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein is back in the news as the giant real estate investment firm run by her husband, Rich Blum, is possibly poised to earn as much as $1 billion in commissions from selling U.S. Postal Service buildings across the country.
Several years ago, Feinstein said that she exerted no influence in the process that led to Blum’s company, CBRE Group, then the world’s largest commercial real estate services firm, obtaining an exclusive contract to market USPS facilities—as part of a larger federal effort to reduce the deficit.
Feinstein dismissed the conflict of interest allegations at the time, which were followed by numerous investigative reports criticizing the deal. The USPS Inspector General issued a report saying the contract was not how it previously sold properties and was unlikely to reduce USPS costs. California-based investigative reporters found that CBRE was selling properties below market value to clients, which means those buyers could likely profit if they resold them.

Disclosure is entirely different from prohibition, Prog idiots. And it will affect as many rich Progs as it does Conservatives.

Rush doesn't have a government contract to air his show on AFN you mouth breathing ritalin chewers. His show is syndicated through Premiere Radio Networks who either donates the show for free to the Defense Media Activity or has a deal with DMA for a severly reduced monetary contract.
Put your wangs back in your pants...Rush isn't going anywhere.

So why did Soros backed Obama strangle coal companies ?
Simple, Soros owns a gas fracking company.
Soros’s investment in Consol also comes as the company is beginning to focus more on growing the natural gas side of the business. SNL notes that in “late 2013, it sold off five thermal coal properties in West Virginia in order to focus on the growth of its gas business.â€
http://dailycaller.com/2014/08/15/george-soros-invests-big-in-fracking-company-despite-funding-green-groups/
Soros is known for being a big-monied donor behind many liberal and environmental organizations, including the Alliance for Climate Protection, the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Union of Concerned Scientists.
The Natural Resources Defense Council and the Union of Concerned Scientists both have warned that fracking can contaminate drinking water and harm air quality. And both of these groups have supported federal regulations to limit cabron dioxide emissions from power plants and other rules that would force coal-fired power plants to retire.
Koch brothers influence on government ? :rotf:

Soros & Steyer would also get "Nancy Kerrigan" kneecapped by any such executive order. Don't think the libs even think about that consequence.
