Everyone in congress who has voted against rebuilding Infrastructure should be indicted
for accessory to MURDER.

UPDATE 12:15 p.m.: The man killed by the bridge collapse was Brandon Carl, 45, of Augusta, Ky. He was inside a backhoe when the bridge collapsed. Airbags were used to lift heavy metal beams off of the backhoe. Carl's body was removed at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday, more than four hours after the bridge

4 hours underneath heavy metal beams

Boehner and his GOP are murderers!

1. It was the "Hopple Street Overpass Bridge"

so, would that be the responsibility of federal, state, or local government?

2. Usually I would agree with tha, but in this case, it was undergoing demolition already.

this was a work place accident during the demolition.

3. infrastructure spending used to be a bipartisan no brainer

It is evidence number 1 that Republicans in congress are intentionally hurting the United States.

6. And that purposeful death and destruction will NOT stop when the BLACK man is gone

the BLACK man is the excuse they used, but now these very stupid, very mean people have political power and led by Scalia in the courts they will use their hate and their power to cause as much death and destruction as possible.

The crazy train is boarding.

4. Regardless of the details of this incident, there are plenty of examples where people die

due to disregard whether it be roads and bridges or healthcare/food/shelter.

One party wants to prevent future death (to some degree), the other purposely wants future deaths.

The bridge will NOT be repaired until a teaparty asshole congressperson's family member dies crossing it...

The same criminal thought process applies to food, shelter, healthcare, etc

Pssst...it was being torn down.

How much infrastructure repair's been done since January 20, 2009?

I seem to recall there were some promises.....

And also, how many of these sorts of things happen in blue cities where the local machine is buddy-buddy with such contractors?  It seems to me just about all of them do (Boston, Minneapolis, Chicago, &c., &c., &c.).

It is evidence number 1 that Republicans in congress are intentionally hurting the United States.

And then the democrats forced cities and states to basically use only union labor and costs sky rocketed. Liberals are against low bid contracts because that leaves their cronies out in the cold most of the time.

Hey, you stupid DUmmies, has it occurred to you that the bridge fell while it WAS being worked on thanks to 'Infrastructure' spending demanded by the Pretzeldent and executed by careless union employees?  Doesn't that mean we should indict OBOZO and all the unions involved in the project, not Congress?

DU-member ashling seems to have missed a couple of things in the article (s)he linked:

First, the bridge that collapsed was being demolished, as part of the process of of being upgraded. If anyone should be indicted, maybe it should be the lawmakers who voted in favor of upgrading that bridge, since it was the demo work that likely caused the collapse.

Second:

Quote
The Hopple Street ramp (what collapsed) was considered "functionally obsolete," which means it does not meet current design standards. That categorization is not a measure of its structural integrity and was likely put into place due to the lack of emergency breakdown lanes.

IOW, the bridge, before demo work began, was structurally sound. IOW, some mistake in the demo process probably caused the collapse.

Which party is for murdering unborn babies?
Which party wants to find excuses for the terrorists who want to kill Americans?

More likely a lack of bike lanes.

Hmm, so, we should indict them because we didn't check our facts, and they did the opposite of what we accused them of, but something bad happened for totally unrelated reasons.  And you guys wonder why nobody else thinks you're actually the supergeniuses you claim to be...

And so it is with Ferguson, the alleged choking death of the cigarette tax pirate, and every other event that is attempted to be used by libs to advance their agenda.

I thought all those "shovel ready jobs" that cost billions of American tax dollars were supposed to fix our infrastructure.

Two problems with those shovel ready jobs: there were no shovels and there were no jobs.
