It's a long, long article but has maybe two paragraphs that hint at the real problem.....but they smooth over that quickly and go back to it's all you white peebles fault. It can't be democrats and blacks that caused the problem.

I know this is probably preaching to the choir, but ...
If a "white" person tells black leaders and people they have serious problems, we're denounced as racists.
If a black person tells black leaders and people they have serious problems, they're denounced as Uncle Toms and worse.
To the degree "whites" have been fleeing black-dominated areas, they're fleeing the trouble, corruption, and danger Carthan details, not black people as such (IOW, if the troublesome, etc., people were "whites", those who have fled would have done so regardless of race of those who are troublesome).

When one looks at the riots in Ferguson he or she does not feel a lot of incentive to move into or start a business in a predominately black neighborhood. Why would a Walmart to 7-11 build a store in a place like that where you are perceived injustice away from having your store looted and burnt to the ground. Why would a insurance company want to insure a business knowing that there is a good chance they'll have to make a payout a few years down the road.
The presence or absence of whites do not cause the lack of economic growth in these places. It is the crime and violence that stunts economic prosperity.

Screw em. Last I checked, white or not I am free to move where I damn well please. No matter how much any ethnic group or their liberal handlers cry about it.

Maybe having dreams that have been answered everywhere else for 50 years is a big part of the problem...

I just finished reading this whinefest.
This sort of thing happened all over the West -- economic blight as a result of no real economic base coupled with bad decisions by the leadership.
They are called "ghost towns."
My advise is for these crybabies to tell the last one to eave town to turn the lights out.

Elected Democrat state leadership coupled with a good, solid Cat 5 hurricane should fix that problem in fairly short order, if they wrest the governorship back from the GOP.
