"Baptized in borrowed blood"
In this veil of tears in the aftermath of the Paris massacre, I wish to take note of a master of his craft.

Charles P. Pierce, in describing the Fox News hategasm that came in the aftermath, described the whole network as "baptizing itself in borrowed blood again."

**** my life. That, right there, is how you do that.

God. Damn.

I want to be Charlie when I grow up.

2. I heard the term for the first time over twenty years ago.

"Sangre ajena." There had been an assassination where a politician was splattered with the blood of someone who was standing next to him. He then went on live t.v. without changing clothes and used the tragedy to score his own political points. Someone accused him of using sangre ajena.

Hmm.... All I can think of is Jackie Kennedy at LBJ's swearing in.

However, the 12 people who were slaughtered there were killed by the right people, so the masturbating nuns are long forgotten, and the dead likely now are conscripted into involuntary martyrdom by our professional keyboard warriors and green-room commandos, people whom the murdered cartoonists would have drawn with condoms on their heads, had they lives. Steve M has the gory instant reaction from FoxWorld, which is baptizing itself in borrowed blood again. (I especially like the way Elisabeth Hasselbeck hangs this on...wait for it...Bill de Blasio.

the above is from esquire...

I think it's important to point out that we don't know what any of these murderers actually look like yet. We know what they yelled, and we are entitled to suspect that CH's lampooning of Islam was the cause of this butchery, since it seems to have inspired someone on a previous occasion to firebomb the publication's offices. But we don't know yet what they look like -- they were wearing ski masks -- so we don't know yet what "political correctness" has to do with anything.

Well, we do know what they look like now. AND what they shouted, and what they said they were doing and what they did... Can we call this exactly what it was?

This is why Mr. Madison believed that the adoption of Christianity as the official religion of the Roman Empire by Constantine to be one of the worst things that ever happened to both religion and government. Official religions end in blood, always.

Yes... no mention of Islam in the article. Blame Christianity for barbaric acts in the past.

IIRC, wasn't Jesse Jackson interviewed, after Martin L. King was assassinated, wearing a bloodstained shirt?

Borrowed blood for a political agenda? Who would dare use the deaths of children shot by a lunatic at school for political gain?

Borrowed blood for a political agenda? Who would dare use the deaths of people in a crowded theater at the hands of a lunatic for political gain?

Borrowed blood for a political agenda?  The left, that is who.

Yes. Jackson put his hand in King's blood and smeared it on his own shirt.

The idiom in English, which goes back long before The Pittstain or Jesse Jackoff, is "Waving the bloody shirt."  I'm surprised that none of the smarterest, most litterated pimples on the internet, including the allegedly-educated Pittstain, never seem to have encountered the phrase before...but then they normally function mentally as if they had awakened on a new planet every day.

I'm going to rub this in your greasy face every time you stand on a bloody body to push your agenda, William.  You really should think before you commit your mental diarrhea to the eternity of the internet.

Hosea Williams NEVER liked JJ due to the fact that he said he "comforted the King" as he was dying. This was total bullshit. He was a lowly peon when MLK was murdered. He smeared blood on his own shirt and stole the spotlight. ...and we haven't stopped hearing from the race-baiting piece of dog shit.

Wee Willy should have gone to one of those old time Jesse Jackson rallies where he extolled the mob to shout.....

I AM.... SOMEBODY

I AM.... SOMEBODY

I AM.... SOMEBODY

I AM.... SOMEBODY

More like it, you gave Pittforbrains too much credit for his mental maturity.

Pedophilia, just another thing Pitt and some other DUmmies have in common with Muslims.

That may be . . . the 'vehicle' Pittstain uses. :whistling:

This could indeed be Pittstain and Scott Ritter in an earlier life. In this scene they are interchangeable, like Gerald Fitzpatrick or Patrick Fitzgerald.  :naughty:
