NEW YORK (AP) - New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton is urging his employees who attend a slain officer's wake and funeral to refrain from making political statements.

Mayor Bill de Blasio or Warren Wilhelm should face the music for being anti-police. I know funeral is not a time for protesting, but de Blasio's presence is making matters worse.

I have heard that the NYPD members attending did not disrespect the mayor.  He certainly deserves it, but they followed Commissioner Bratton's 'guidance.'

Those NYPD officers who turned their backs on Doh! Mayor gave him greater respect than he gave them! They didn't label him as a racist and a potential murderer!

If you disrespect you should expect respect.
