LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Department of Motor Vehicles expects big crowds on Friday, the first day undocumented immigrants in California can officially apply for a driver’s license.
The DMV has hired more than 1,000 workers and opened four new centers to handle the rush.

The bolded part is what really pisses me off about this. For years, going to the dmv has been an exercise in patience dealing with the long lines and in recent years having to deal with many offices being closed on Fridays because of state budget shortfalls. Now the state is bending over backwards and spending millions of taxpayer $$s to make it easier for illegal aliens to get licenses. I see this as a big slap in the face to all legal citizens who for years have been told we have to put up with long lines because the state didnt have the resources to hire more dmv staff.

I thought Gov moonbeam opened the retirement fund to fix Cal's money woes. yes ? / no ?
Now the problem will be getting insurance. :-)

Criminals works for me. If we only could treat them the same way their countries would treat US should we happen to enter illegally and take jobs from THEIR citizens. :fuelfire:

Makes things easier for voter fraud.
Now me, I'd use that as a place to corral illegals for a trip home.
