I consistently see more whites than blacks in the never ending protests.
The ratio of white to black is like 90% to 10 %
Protest tactics have shifted from burning and looting to blocking streets and "occupying buildings."
I think the Occupy nuts think they have found a cause that will propel their lily white a$$es into power.
~~This also explains DU's collective orgasm over the riots.

I notice that too. I suspect they have merged.

There are posts here on CC where the black protestor told the white protestors to back off, you can stay but stop making decisions for us-this is a black protest.
The white protestors didn't listen and the black protestors went home.
Now it is mostly white Occupy.
-
same types of people, same nonsensical chants and slogans. And the most obvious.... all were/are sponsored by various communist organizations.

Get with the current parlance. Whitey has "appropriated" the black protests for their own use.

seeing as the black population as a whole is about 13% of the country...

Not when they start hauling out the 12-packs and TVs.

Them and the communist party trouble makers.

http://revcom.us/ is the same bunch that helped the occupy retards. They are basically a bunch of pasty white keyboard warriors.

I wouldn't call it a "Merger," more like the Occupiers showed up, realized that it might inject some life back into their pitiful movement, and threw temper tantrums like the spoiled trust- fund brats that they are until the black protestors gave in to their demands and let them take the reins of the protest.

No, no.
I think the proper term is "appropriated."

The first wave of socialist revolutions and societies began with the short-lived Paris Commune of 1871, the first attempt to overthrow and replace bourgeois rule. It took a leap with the October Revolution in Russia in 1917, and went further and took yet another leap with the Chinese revolution of 1949, in particular the Cultural Revolution of 1966-1976. This first wave came to an end in 1976 with the overthrow of proletarian power and restoration of capitalist rule in China.
This first wave of socialist societies in the Soviet Union (1917-1956) and China (1949-1976) constituted an unprecedented and inspiring breakthrough in liberation for humanity.

Yeah, they liberated close to 100 million from life.

Yeah, they liberated close to 100 million from life....liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

The co-opting - the term 60s-70s radicals used to love - of the protests began within a week or two of the first Michael Brown protest-riot. With the not-quite-local looter-thugs from nearby towns also came out-of-state radicals of the various flavors of anarchists, socialist, communists, black identity types, and race-hucksters who want and benefit from racial and social strife and anarchy. Such folks are socio-political chameleons, taking on the colors of and co-opting whatever the cause-of-the-month may be.

Well, I do not see many Blacks protesting as they did initially. I wonder if there could be another Occupy movement like in 2011.

Gee! monster numbers 9, 8, 7, 3, 2, and 1 were some form of Socialist. I think I discern a pattern. Extreme nationalism, racism, and tribalism don't come off very well, either, accounting for numbers 10, 6, 5, and 3 (Hitler was both a nationalist-racist and a non-Marxian Socialist).
The horrible colonialists? "Just" the one, number 4.
The Sudanese (Arabs) genocide against southern (= black) Sudanese (most of whom became South Sudanese) and the massacres of Tutsis by Hutus must have missed being on the list by not fitting the strongman dictator paradigm. If added to the list based on number killed only, they would fall under the aegis of nationalism, racism, and tribalism.
One other factor is missing from the list of 10 ... the R word. But religion was (and is?) a factor in the Sudanese genocide. Along with the racial factor, the Sudanese Arab killers-enslavers were Muslims, and most of their south Sudanese victims were Christians and Animists. Militant atheists love to blame religion for the world's wars and murderous oppressions, yet only one of the worst 12 of the late 19th and the 20th had religion of any sort as a significant cause (Muslims like ISIS and the Talibanders, and to a lesser degree, Hindus and Buddhists, are working on that, though). Unless one includes atheism as a religion, and then the atheism of Stalin, Mao, et al becomes pertinent.

I view Atheism, especially Militant Atheism as a religion.

Well, I been watching the wildcard games today and if perception is reality then the opposite would be true. Is it really the Negro Football League?

Works for me. Several decades, when being a religion was generally viewed positively, atheist-humanists called themselves a religion. More recently, as religion has come to be viewed negatively, atheists have come to vehemently deny being a religion. I don't think ordinary atheists are that cynically opportunistic, but I think some influential atheists are.
