Title: Easier to pass an olive pit through the butt of a DUmmy
Post by: zeitgeist on December 27, 2014, 05:53:29 PM
Fun little thread from the religion forum.  Randy1 (low post troll) goes toe jam to toe jam with The Thread Slayer.

Here is where Randy1 drops the chum in the water.  The sharks didn't hit right off but eventually this did get some froth on the water.

Is it a sin to have more than $400,000 in stocks, money, and not give at least half of it to your

local people in need of food and housing?

What number do you need to get to before you feel the need to increase your giving, progressive giving as in progressive taxation, what would Jesus do?

It got good when Cbayer the Thread Slayer slam dunked Randy1's cranium up Randy's sphincter.

13. You are asking the wrong person.

I may use some of Jesus's teachings as guideposts, but not as commands.

My father gives most of his money away. He believes that if he truly ever needs something, it will be there for him. I doubt that he feels commanded, but I think he does feel compelled.

17. Er, no, but you are not the first to make very mistaken assumptions about me.

What gave you that idea, by the way?
Of course one monkey don't start the show.

25. Oh you fell into the trap and made somebody's day!

The poster is indeed one of the two most prolific theist posters in the religion forum but maintains that she is "agnostic". The poster then delights in springing the "who me?" trap on the unsuspecting.

And there are a few at the DUmp who actually know a bit of the Book;

62. Jesus of course

But he nowhere said that they can't get to heaven.

The theology here is quite clear. You can't get yourself into heaven. You can't earn your way into heaven... or buy your way in. Wealth can get you almost anything you want in this world... but doesn't get you even an inch closer to heaven.

Render unto Skinner that which is Skinners. DUmmies, store not up for yourself post counts on the DUmp, they won't get you an inch closer to salvation when the dread pizza delivery comes. O-)

Gay,screeching randy must have never seen a picture of the unidentifiable gender cbayer.
If not for somehow having a large trust fund the animalistic freak of nature would be fending off Sasquatch hunters.

This thread really caught fire after I first posted it here.  DUmmies are nothing if not experts on Christianity.   A great thread to read on a Sunday morning to renew your faith in a DUmmies ability to interpret scripture.   :fuelfire:

One of these days I'd like to go into the backstory of the "eye of the needle".

So, any amount over $400,000 makes you a sinner.....all democrat politicians are sinners....especially Bill, Hillary and the Kennedys.
