US Close National Parks Along the Mexican Border
« on: June 15, 2010, 01:53:43 PM »

No link yet, but the National Park Service has closed our parks along the Mexican border. Their reasoning is because the parks are overrun by illegal aliens and drug smugglers and it's dangerous for US citizens to use their own parks.

So, our Government is starting to restrict our freedom of movement and prohibiting the use of park land that we have paid to use and maintain instead of addressing the illegal alien problem. Our freedoms are at risk, people !!! And all due to people that don't even belong in the US!!

Been saying for years that illegals have more rights than citizens... this kind of legitimizes that assertion.

One of those parks has to be Big Bend National Park in Texas, which borders the Rio Grande. Beautiful place. It'd be shame to shut it down because of illegal activity.

Address the illegal alien problem... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Better to close off the parks than risk getting all those pesky lawsuits from American Citizens' families after their family members are killed by the illegal aliens.   :censored: :censored: :censored:

So the parks are shut down.

Means no National park employees there?

Sounds like a good place to go hunting for 'cans.

Somehow the Government will report it as a net gain.  ::)

Two years ago:
Quote
Park rangers have closed 60 percent of Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument to visitors, including the Old Sonoyta Highway, due to drug smuggling and illegal migration
In response to the dangers created by drug runners and illegal immigrants, the U.S. Park Rangers Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police named the 330,000 acre Organ Pipe National Monument the most dangerous national park for law enforcement in 2002 and 2003. The cited reasons were illegal immigration, drug running, and low ranger staffing.
Organ Pipe is not the only national park to feel the effects of a tightened border. Big Bend National Park, encompassing 245 miles along the Rio Grande, is seeing a much smaller, but steadily increasing, number of illegal entrances.

I'm not finding anything recent, but that doesn't mean it ain't so.

We're doing the opposite of what we should be doing.

We need to advertise to the American people our parks are under siege and invite everyone to load up for bear and go campin'!

If the Bummer's admin won't protect what belongs to the people of this country, he should at least let Patriots do it for him!

Ironic that they lifted the gun ban in national parks? Hmmmm.

BTW - the supposed Mexican plot to reclaim the SW... technically it's working.

I like the idea of moving a militia in since our government won't do anything. But I know Arizona has conceal and carry and good fire arm friendly laws. I think its gonna come down to the ranchers and people of Arizona are gonna have to do it themselves. I have a lot of family down there I am about half convinced to go down there if it gets worse. I grew up one state over in New Mexico trust me I know how bad the immigrant gang violence is. Lived with it while growing up and it has only gotten worse since then.

Just watched the video, AM, of the interview with the sheriff.  Shameful that this ever got so bad and that I see no interest from the Feds to secure our country.
