Threats of deadly violence by pro-illegal immigration activists were reported by Los Angeles radio station KNX 1070-AM and the Los Angeles Times in articles about today's pro-illegal immigration march in Los Angeles.
The KNX article led with the prevelance of American flags at the march, noting in an interview with a participant that Spanish language media was urging that the rally look like "a sea of red, white and blue."

As hundreds assembled on a street closed to autos a mile south of City Hall, a stakebed truck was festooned with a sign directed at Washington. In Spanish, it said "Obama hear us. We will die in the struggle."
It also displayed a quote from Mexican revolutionary Emiliano Zapata, proclaiming it better to die than to die kneeling.
The Times softened the rhetoric from the crowd, yet the threat of violence needs no interpretation:
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2010/05/thousands-gather-for-immigrant-rights-march-in-downtown-los-angeles.htmlDemonstrators waving dozens of American flags, with a few Mexican flags interspersed, crowded around the platform at the march's starting point changing slogans, "Obama Escucha Estamos en la Lucha" or "Obama, listen, we're in the fight."
It's a good thing the Tea Party protesters don't go around with signs in English that say, "Obama hear us. We will die in the struggle." He might call out SWAT teams to put them in their place.
