When it comes to academia, I think there's no question it's rife with leftists and Marxists. If she were to GTFO out NYC and come to flyover country, she might be pleasantly surprised.

Marxism hasn't gotten a foothold out here -- but that doesn't mean they ain't trying.

Yep, it could be a simple case of her choosing the wrong university.  In the wrong city.
