I don't understand the hate-fascination some people have towards Sarah Palin. Whether one likes her or not (I do!), don't they have more important things in their lives to worry about? If they don't ...I'll be happy to give them some off of my plate.....

I also think that's one of the reasons I really like her. She's real.

She wasn't born with a silver spoon, she went to public schools and college, she's actually worked in the real world to help support her family because she had to, she and her husband have struggled and worked hard to get what they have, run a hard business(fishing) for several years, and they have raised their own children not packed them off to boarding school.

She's lived life like 90% of the country has....maybe a bit better than some, not as good as some others. But she knows what it's like to have to be practical and use common sense, not manipulation to succeed.

And she has been successful at it.

Yep....no wonder a lot of people hate her.

Problem is even when we send upstanding individuals to DC, they start turning into politicals wanting invited to the DC parties in less time than it takes for a mosquito to find my youngest granddaughter after a summer downpour! After that happens, all is lost!

I've seen stone-cold conservatives turn into DC leaches and lobby sluts inside of 3 months! They are more interested in paddin' their pockets than controlling gubmint spending!

Even if it means the downfall of the whole frikkin' country! Just like they have been doing for the last 50 frikkin' years! "Oh, it's okay, the next generation will take care of it and I'll be able to keep my share of the pie!"
