Liberal crybaby and Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz deserves an Emmy nominee for her act at an airport after surviving a “dangerous” encounter with an unmasked passenger.The liberal complained via Twitter in a long-winded series of tweets that TSA agents at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York asked passengers to remove their masks before they stepped up to the security desk. Lorenz described the situation as “dangerous” and “insane,” causing her to hold her breath for several seconds as she approached security....“I can’t believe they're doing stuff like this in 2023,” Lorenz tweeted, accusing the TSA agent of behaving with "abject cruelty" for telling "a woman" that she shouldn't be flying if she was "so scared.”
Former Yale University volunteer and researcher Bandy Lee has lost yet another lawsuit against the school in relation to the non-renewal of her agreement with her.The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a prior ruling that found Yale acted lawfully when it decided not to renew an agreement with Lee, who had an unpaid role at the Ivy League university.Lee (pictured) has not “adequately alleged a promise that Yale would not decline to renew her appointment on account of her public statements,” the three-judge panel ruled. The decision went on to review Lee’s claims and explain why they were being rejected.“We have considered Lee’s remaining arguments and found them to be without merit,” the judges ruled in conclusion, upholding a district judge’s decision.

To say that Michigan has lurched to the left under the leadership of Gretchen Whitmer and the state’s liberal majority would be a significant understatement. But with a new bill passed in the state House this week, they are taking things to a cartoonish level. If (more likely “when”) House Bill 4474 is signed into law, you will literally be able to be thrown into prison for hurting someone’s feelings. This is being hidden under the guise of protecting people from “hate speech,” and includes standard liberal online tropes about “feeling threatened.” To be clear, you don’t have to actually threaten someone with violence. They simply need to “feel” threatened by something you say or post online. There is no word from Governor Whitmer yet as to whether the State Police will be directed to establish a new “thought police” unit. (Washington Examiner)Michigan’s Democratic House passed legislation on Tuesday that enables attorneys to shut down “hate speech.” The new House Bill 4474 is a vague and unconstitutional censorship law that determines “feeling threatened” as reasonable grounds to prosecute offenders.The punishment for making someone “feel threatened” in Michigan is five years in jail and a $10,000 fine.An alternate sentence proposes “community service” in order to “enhance the offender’s understanding of the impact of the offense upon the victim and wider community.”I can’t wait for this to be challenged in court. And if the courts can’t find a way to strike this down immediately, we may as well simply set the Constitution on fire. (Something that many Democrats would doubtless be thrilled to see.)If someone claims that they feel threatened by your speech, you can be fined ten thousand dollars and locked up for five years. As a reminder, that’s a prison sentence that is roughly three times longer than the ones that two attorneys in New York City received for literally firebombing a police cruiser and distributing explosive devices to rioters in 2020. If you’re lucky, you may receive a smaller fine and be sentenced to community service so you can ponder your evil ways.
Four people are dead and two more are critically injured after a fire broke out at an e-bike store in Lower Manhattan early Tuesday morning, New York Fire Department Commissioner Laura Kavanagh said."It is very clear that this was caused by lithium-ion batteries and e-bikes. There was a very large number of batteries and e-bikes," Kavanaugh said as she stood outside of HQ E-Bike Repair at a press conference Tuesday in Chinatown.Two men and two women died in the fire, which broke out shortly after midnight Tuesday. Two other women are in critical condition, officials said. The store was located on the first floor of the building, while residential apartments were on the floors above.
