Almost unnoticed in the coverage of the Democrats performing a virtue signal kneeling ceremony in the U.S. Capitol was the fact that one of them did not kneel... Jerry Nadler. Perhaps he knew he would suffer the same fate as Nancy Pelosi and not be able to get up. Also he might have known that too much weight on his knee would require more than one person to help him get up namely a paramedic team.  Another factor could be that he knew that something could rip on the way down.

Fortunately for Nadler, he barely appeared much higher than his fellow kneeling Democrats while standing so he was almost lost in the crowd.
