I am the KING! Omaha Steve loves me! Never mentioned before on DU, but now I'm a headliner.
 :popcorn: no responses yet. OS doesn't generate many...BUT for 15 minutes I'm at the top of DU page one!

Oh man.

I'm not in the mood to deal with this, as the big guy's passe, but it'd be nice if he identified that (R) from eastern Nebraska who's ostensibly really a (D).

I'm not exactly on pins-and-needles waiting to find out, because I have, uh, good reasons to suspect such a candidate doesn't exist.

I understand your confusion. "The Friends of Steve Dawes" were a mysterious group that presented your socialist viewpoints to the world. I have no idea who these awesome humanitarians were.

You seem to be concerned that a liberal Republican is not getting treated the same way you were.
You miss one great difference. liberal republicans may not be Tea Party material, but neither are they socialist.

Steve, your "friends" merely quoted you. You proudly said everything on that website. In a sense you wrote the "Friends" website. Every single quote was referenced and had a link so it could be seen in context. There was no argument about misinterpreting anything. Facts killed you. Your own words defeated you.

and lastly, the "Friends of Steve Dawes," whoever they are, are simply not at your beck and call. They are not obligated in any way to expose anyone. Get off your lazy ass and mine your own quotes.

I think it is interesting how DUmmies (I've seen it happen with DUmmies in addition to Steve) will type words to the effect that the opinions expressed at the Cave are of no value and should be ignored, and yet, those same DUmmies continue to copy/paste excerpts from the Cave, then whine, moan, gnash their teeth, and attempt to refute those excerpts.
