GOP = "Grand Obstructionist Party"

I'd like to see this bumper sticker on millions of automobiles across America.

Also this one:

If it doesn't mean tax cuts for millionaires,
or spending for Bush's "Wargasm,"
then the Republicans aren't interested...

 :argh:

OK, this is a little confusing.  The stimulus package passed the House, it's just that no R's voted for it.  So where's the obstructionism?  You can't obstruct something when you don't have the numbers to obstruct.

And shouldn't they be celebrating that no R's voted for it?  To their tiny noodles, that can only mean that when it succeeds the D's would get all the credit.  But yet there's thread after thread after thread over there all upset that no R's voted for it.  So what's up with that, and why all the anger?

If someone suggests they wanted R's on board because they want cover, then I've got to ask why?  Don't they believe in what's being done?  Wouldn't you rather get all the credit and leave the other side hanging?  This is the perfect set-up for them.  If it succeeds, then the R's will continue to suffer loses at the ballot box.  And yet they're upset about the vote.

Should someone suggest they want the country to come together and work in harmony, then I've got to laugh, because that would be in stark contrast to the history of this country from the beginning.  There's always going to be differences.  It's quite possible they're that stupid to believe all citizens will hold hands in harmony.  If anyone is that stupid, it's definately the primitives.

My only guess is they're scared that all R's are in line against them, and that can spell trouble.  Of course, this was just the House vote.  Senate R's could crumble like a bunch of cheap cookies.

You know, I'm kind of tired of "obstruct" having a negative connotation.

I think "obstructing" something can be positive.

Like obstructing Saddam Hussein from killing more of his own people; that was pretty positive, that obstruction.

Or like obstructing terrorists attacks; now surely we'll all agree that's "good" obstruction.

Or like obstructing a murder or robbery.....

We could go all over the place with this, positive meanings of "obstruction," such as "trying to prevent pillage of the public treasury."

I'm suddenly growing rather fond of the word "obstruction."

Even the DUmbasses know the porkulus bill is a turd in a punchbowl and the donks own it 100%.

BTW, I thought it was patriotic to obstruct...well isn't it?

Right, only when it is libera...socialists obstructing republicans.  I have to get that right! :thatsright:

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

They should have whiplash--they've changed opinion so quickly.
Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

"GOP = 'Grand Obstructionist Party' I'd like to see this bumper sticker on millions of automobiles across America."

Would it matter? Clearly, this exemplar of the Democrats, liberals and leftists lacks the ability to even listen to the so-called news, even from the advocacy/adversary media, and then understand what's been said.

Here's a bumper sticker I'd like to see: "Democrats = Crybabies."

Or "Liberals and leftists = Crybabies."

Better yet: "Democrats = The HUTA Party."

And if you don't know what HUTA is, do a Web search for HUTA plus head and up.

Once again, that crossed my mind.  But why support something you know is going to fail and hope the R's support it to give you cover?  There's no guarantee the R's would give cover, and in fact they didn't, so there goes that plan.

I try never to underestimate the stupidity of the DUmmies in general, but this really takes the cake.

I'm with you.  Good examples, too.
It is funny, the DUmmy's reaction to all this.  They certainly don't understand the first thing about politics.

It couldn't be that somewhere in their tiny intellects, they now have to come to grips with the fact that with this bill......they now OWN the economy.....if it recovers, they get the credit, and if it continues to tank.....they will get their collective asses kicked in the next election??

No, on second thought, they aren"t smart enough to figure that out......

Only in a demented DUchebags mind could passing a bill be obstructionist while making judge appointments by super majority be in the Constitution.

Just like when the Little Goons thought (in January 2005) that impeaching President Bush would make John Kerry president, the Little Goons thought Obama's election would make him adored/feared by all.  The Little Goons aren't angry so much as they are perplexed and completely unable to process and understand what happened during the House vote.  They are lashing out at their own stupidity.

The only reason they wanted some GOP votes is so they won't take the blame for it not helping the economy. and they KNOW it won't.
