If universal healthcare is stopped, will you EVER vote for a Blue Dog again?
Honestly, if they say "no" on this, is there anything they could say "yes" on that could actually matter?

So what's the deal with DUmmy Ken Burch? Is he a replacement user name for the tombstoned Mister Fister? He doesn't have the same vulgar, perverted guttersnipe personality as Ben Burch.

1. I will never vote again.
If we don't get a strong public option, they've won and voting is a joke.

I agree with you, DUmmy asdjrocky, if the Kenyan doesn't get us the same system they have in Borat's home village, you may as well vote for the Rethugs.

2. I agree.
it is tantamount to complete disenfranchisement.

Stalinists have felt that way in America for ages.

12. So 8 years of W was really no different than Al Gore in your opinion
and 8 years of McCain and Palin is no worse than Obama and Biden.
--- End quote ---

No, 8 years of W was vastly better than it would have been with Algore.
Even McCain would have been a tremendous improvement over the Kenyan.
He was constitutionally eligible for the office, and did not have the destruction of capitalism as
one of his objectives.

16. Unfortunately, in a lot of Congressional districts...
Voters have the choice between a bat-shit crazy Republican, or a blue dog Democrat. It's the lesser of two evils, and I'll vote for the blue dog every time.

What I will do, if my blue dog Dem Congressman votes against a health care public option, is to actively work for a progressive Democratic primary challenger to my Congressman in the next election.

I will always vote, I always have. And I won't vote for a crazy Republican. So push comes to shove, I'll vote for my blue dog. Unless I can replace him with a better democrat.
--- End quote ---

It would really be great if the DUmmies could nominate a radical socialist in every congressional district. I'd like to see how many would be elected outside the Peoples' Republic states where they already hold seats.

18. Yeah, my blue piece of shit congress member won't return my calls.
--- End quote ---

I wonder why that is.

7. If I had to choose between a blue dog and a repuke...the answer is yes...
I'm not sure if I'd want to walk into a voting both, though.
Here in TN the only Dems are usually blue dogs...like Ford.

21. It means working for change within that state
And clearly, the Blue Dogs aren't FOR change.
It means finding ways to make the case for progressive ideas in a way that will reach voters that the Beltway ASSUMES are nothing but conservative.
And, in the end, if you have someone elected as a Democrat who doesn't vote for what our party stands for, does it actually MEAN anything that that person was elected as a Democrat?
--- End quote ---

DUmmies in blue dog states should simply come over to the dark side.

The Village Idiot:
Conservatives want change too. I think we should work within every state to make it legal to put leftists out of their misery.

Carl:
Why is it so difficult for these twits to grasp that these Congress critters are voting the way they believe and that reflects the beliefs of the majority of the voters they represent?

If the district or state is more conservative then they are that is who they will elect same as my state and now district elect people that are more liberal then I am.

God,they never miss a chance to prove how really stupid they are.

Freeper:

Yeah its total BS that we are against changes we are just for changes that increase freedom and actually make sense. "progressives" just want change for the sake of change no matter what the long tern effects are. They would be perefectly happy getting "free" health care even it it bankrupts the nation.

Karin:
By all means, DUmmies, actively work to put a radical communist on your party's ticket.  Send him your meager pennies.  Go door to door.  Come to my door.  Disregard the ferocious barking, come on in.
