Usually it's the freaky fundie lady that says incredibly stupid things, but today it's another guy I work with (Clearly a Repug, but usually quiet):
Another coworker and I were just talking about the DC Metro train wreck and he contributed this gem: "That's why we shouldn't be putting a whole bunch of money into subways and buses."
As if nobody dies on the freeway?!?
