Stinky The Clown (1000+ posts) Wed Jun-03-09 05:15 PMOriginal message Matthews, in case you haven't really gotten a firm grasp on it ........ .... Hillary Clinton works for Barak Obama. She has always been *both* a leader and a very skilled and eager worker. She is the consummate professional. Obama hired her to be a member of HIS team and to carry out HIS foreign policy. And she is doing just that and doing it VERY well, thank you very much.Yet, by your tone and comments, you seem surprised by that. Instead you spout some shit about "the Clintons". As if you are amazed they're not out there undermining Obama and doing their own freelance shit. You are like a dog with a bone. She is pretty much above criticism in her current role. Yet, you continue to flog your same shit from a decade ago when "the Clintons" failed to hire your sorry, miserable, bloviating ass for a role in The Big Dawg'z administration.Get over it.
Captain Hilts (1000+ posts) Wed Jun-03-09 05:16 PMResponse to Original message 1. He admitted back in the '90s how much he hated the Clintons. I wonder how he feels about his idol doing a 19 year old intern for a year and a half?!?!Then again, he gets a funny feeling down his leg for Obama and also has a man-crush on GWBush and John McCain. Go figure.Hence all his 'Cruella deVille', 'Nurse Ratchet', and 'Lady MacBeth' references to Hillary.

ecstatic (1000+ posts) Wed Jun-03-09 05:17 PMResponse to Original message 2. Tweety is about as cynical as it gets Seems a bit presumptuous of him to assign his own cynical motives to people.
underpants (1000+ posts) Wed Jun-03-09 05:17 PMResponse to Original message 3. Obama's out of the country-they are supposed to criticize the POTUS when he is out of the country so they are talking about Hillary, Richard Wolffe's book (Fox is even promoting that), and how the media is giving Obama a free pass
rvablue (1000+ posts) Wed Jun-03-09 05:19 PMResponse to Original message 4. Thanks, Stinky. Couldn't have put it better myself. Tweety is going to be a like a rabid dog with a bone when this Wolffe book comes out looking for any crumb to justify his "Clinton Derangement Syndrome."There have always been rumors that Tweety got his feelings hurt when the Big Dawg didn't appoint him press secretary and hasn't been able to let go of it since. We all have to remember that at that point, Matthews was a columnist for the SF Chronicle, wrote a book and wanted back in the big time again.....looks like his cable show wasn't enough to satiate his appetitie for being front and center.
