Well, it's that time of year again where progressives fall all over each other on behalf of the agents of the warfare state.

I, for one, don't buy it. Now, to be clear I am not talking about anyone drafted to fight in a war. I am talking about the volunteers for the Warfare state.

So a guy graduates high school. He volunteers for the Marines. Get's
his shit paid for by the taxpayer. On Veterans day he puts on his
uniform and bums free pancakes and later at some bar people will buy
him drinks.

Semper Fi! Thank you for your service!

He has a few career paths from there.

Maybe he gets his college paid for by the taxpayer, maybe not.

Maybe he goes on to work for a defense contractor and has his salary
ultimately paid for by the taxpayer. Maybe he stays in the Corps 20
years or whatever.

He then goes on to suck off the taxpayer tit for the rest of his life
when he retires.

He loves putting on his marine corps jacket or hat though and bumming
free drinks off of people.

Meanwhile it is amusing because at the bar he sits around and
complains about welfare leeches and other "liberals" who leech off of
the government in some form or another. He complains about "Obamacare"
while he gets his VA benefits.

He hasn't protected us from anybody. To the contrary, people dislike
us because of assholes like him.

Marines: The ultimate hypocrites, the ultimate welfare bums! ****

5. IMO
