My theory on why unemployment is dropping.
Because those who are working are about to drop dead. People are dropping like flies where I work due to health reasons or are leaving to other organizations because of an enormous work load. Management is just now beginning to understand and are grudgingly beginning to hire more people.

14. I don't believe it is. The government is lying about it.

6. I think the Fed REALLY.

... wants/needs to begin the taper and they cannot do it until the employment numbers look better. So they look better!

Not seriously.

In any event, it is well known that most of these jobs are McJobs. So the "recovery" crowd can please sit on it.

8. Exactly! I find it disgusting when politicans point to the jobs they are

creating, because most are crap jobs. Well said, ...

13. I'm afraid that's the new normal.

Sad to say.

Don't bother with higher ed. Just be sure you have a really good grasp of computer technology.

Then you too can sit at a computer all day and type stuff in.

Where have all the skittle shitting unicorns gone?

New normal?

My goodness, looks like even the DUmmies are having a hard time buying the largely made-up and then recooked employment numbers.  Oh, ye of little faith.  Tsk, tsk.

Same thing every Christmas season. Every one of them.
Stores hire people to help with the heavier customer load.
They lay off, in January.
They may keep some that show good work ethic.
Same thing every year.

BLIND SQUIRREL ALERT!!!!!!!!

I would change that to "The Obama Regime is Lying."  Nothing like a failed Obama Care rollout to make the unemployment numbers have to go down.

BTW, 45% of the employment numbers came from gubmint yobs.

41% of new hires was for government jobs.  Three more years of Obama and there will be more government jobs than private sector.  It's going to be hard to pay all their salaries and benefits without nationalizing private industry.

Not going to happen. Politicians are afraid to say no.

These are the same people who cheered in oct of 2012 when UE fell to under 8%, they called us racists for pointing out it was bullshit. This year all of a sudden they don't buy it, it's not an election year so I guess they can be a little bit honest.

Ohh it's the executive branch's fault alright, they pin the blame squarely on the president's shoulders, president George W Bush.

DUmmies think the purpose of business is to maximize headcount, because that's how government works.

"my theory: more people are getting jobs

in spite of the republicans doing nothing"

 :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I can't stand this type of thinking.  First of all we republicans are doing more then you are idiot because we actually pay taxes because we have jobs.   We have jobs so therefore we also get our buddies jobs and we have jobs so we can hire people.  Not to mention this crazy little fact: it's up to each individual to get a job not somebody else.

Your "theory" needs some serious work..

Our private lives were obviously not in our best interests.  I'm so glad the government is working so hard to take them away from us.
